Yeah, best I could do with the Ghibli before I gave up with it was a high 1:37.XXX. A better driver/tuner should get more out of it, but I don’t see it at the top of the standings…lol.
The Chevelle SS in the last one.
Am about ready with leveling the first car for this round, didn’t have any.
Curious to see how it will do, wanted to build that thing anyway.
Should get some Uhr laps in tomorrow.
Leveling up the Cobra and had only race compound and widest tires and managed a 1:42… think I’m about 400 CP from being able to apply Chronic’s tune… so we will see what happens after that…
For me, I start finding what may work based on pure stats… to me, that would be best overall average of the 4 main stats… but then, I look at the available PI and car’s weight. So, I try to find a high overall average, but then narrow it down by PI and weight. I may decide to be more biased on handling/brakes over speed/accel depending on the track.
And where possible, I am probably gonna make sure not to push a car past a limit of 2 max classes.
For the drag cars, the Holden showed a lot of promise being so light and the lowest PI, I thought it could overcome the crappy overall stats. While building it up during the lower classes, I think it was a good choice, but fell short once it hit A compared to the others. Still not bad though.
But a few choices from my start held up to what I first chose like the Valiant (which was the lightest to start).
I like looking at the stats and trying to suss out what may or may not work. I can play with the numbers for almost as long as it takes to level one up now-a-days (OK, slight exaggeration). That’s the fun part of the game to me (hate the new system though). It’s fun being right sometimes… and well, still fun even when I’m not – unless the car turns out to be a snowplow.
My choices so far for this one (some were already lvl 50 and some new ones to play with from the division):
'87 COSWORTH
'90 190E
'93 MUSTANG
'97 GHIBLI
'97 M3
'00 MUSTANG
'02 FIREBIRD
A few hold promise and it seems the `00 stang is going to be a strong one… I’ll probably save that one for last.
cheers!

Where can you access the list of cars included in the categories you are choosing for the HLCs. Is it in game ? I know in 7 there were categories in the area where you Buy Cars but I did not see a similar breakout in this new game.
When you go to either your personal garage or the “buy cars” section, you can sort by division. That way all the eligible cars are in one spot.
In addition to the other response You’ve received, ManteoMax has been creating spreadsheets with all the details or most of the FM cars. Perform a quick Google search, yet, if you can’t find it, I can email it to you.

As others have said….
But you can also sort the cars by division. If you choose “Sport Touring Classics” that will position your selection at the start of the cars eligible this week. Be careful though, nothing keeps you from exiting them…
I don’t advertise it cause I simply don’t want to support it any more, but, thanks to the spreadsheet by ManteoMax, I ported everything over to a database backed website that has just the more important things (to me that is) and it all is sortable and filterable.
You can check it out if you want… myForzaGarage.com … I find it quite useful.
I do need to update the divisions for the last few cars that came out after release… I’m a slacker.
cheers

I use this sight Cars List | Forza Motorsport | kudosprime.com
You can also Hit X button when in your cars or buy a car to sort by division.
Just finished up with the G35. I could probably find a high 1:36 in it but I’ll settle for where I am at to try some of these other cars. A good driver could pull 1:35s in the G I believe. If you have a G35, give it a whirl.
@JSR_Chronic I looked for your tune on the G35 but did not find it. Would like to try yours and compare.
It’s shared looking at it now
Add me as friend will be easier to find the tunes add me then just go to get tunes

There is no _ fm.net weird like that adds a _ for a space
If anyone has a need for a paint job on your 1990 Mercedes-Benz 190E, I’ve shared a livery. I am not a great painter like Moss, yet, in the process of learning.

My biggest fears came to reality. Last corner on maple valley is the endboss. Cant count the wall impacts anymore, where i have thrown away very low 1:37s…
Yup. Had some spectacular crashes there already!
Just for your information, the HSV GTSR '96 shows on the leaderboard as a Holden GTSR '96.
Confused me at first when attempting to add Helmakr’s time to our own board.
I’m sure it won’t be the only car wrongly described
I spent 45 minutes trying to get engine sound on the BMW M3 91, tried different tunes, different cars I ended up trying a different track then going back to Maple Valley and it worked.
Did my quickest time with no engine sound though, which is weird. However this car I am not happy with, so currently have my son AFK levelling the 97 M3, whilst he is sat at come doing college work and I am at work .
@Mr_Quint_808 Now that’s teamwork lol
He doesn’t even play Forza, I was sat in my office at work explaining how to do it, and making sure he had the right car, whilst trying to look like it was important call to my colleagues
. I’m a middle aged man, getting my priorities all wrong.
Not my best run. But here is a video of my fingers in action. I’m going to release the tune unlock later today if anyone wants to build upon it.
