Awesome! Thanks so much for posting the settings in the tune. This might help with other cars. I’ll try the tune tonight or tomorrow if I can’t get home in time.
“Loose” is the way. I’m bummed that it takes so much just to enjoy the game, and that’s not taking account for the fact that you’re on a wheel.
An hour video breaking down tuning? I’m down!
I’ve got two videos on tuning. One is the basics when I was just learning, but most of it applicable. The second covers suspension geometry. And finally, I’ve returned to mostly using the stock bump settings only making minor changes there at most because I’ve simply found that best for curbs. On a side nite, very unstable cars do better with really stiff suspensions on Spa because of Eau Rouge, but such set-ups may not work as well other places.
Sweet channel. Thank you sir.
LoL if you think its that easy you know nothing about racing actual cars. If anybody here tried to do it IRL we would be in the wall and probably dead.
The telemetry is shown on the screen, they full throttle the hill, it’s not that difficult.
LoL you think driving a HyperCar or GT3 car on racetrack like spa is “Not that hard”…ok man.
It is 100% possible. Difficult? Yes. But very much possible
This is not about labels. This is about bringing a good experience for players. «Real Simulators» were bad games in the past but they evolved, they’ve listen to their audience. I remember when ACC first came, it was just terrible, but look at it now.
I’m driving a «simcade» is specifically to take it to a next level, to contribute with my experience, and make a superb game out of it. It would be easier to just ignore it, but I see potential in the game, and that is the reason I still play it. These labels of sim or simcade, makes absolutely no sense. Why not to give the best physics experience to your audience and let them decide how much assistance they want? Remember, no company wants to make a bad game, by they end up doing when they don’t listen to their audience, when they don’t want to evolve; and I don’t think this is the case for Turn 10/MS. They did a lot of bad things in this game, but I see some movements in the right direction, so let’s contribute and hope for the best.
Let’s remember, we all just want to have fun.
I play Forza Motorsport since FM5 and in my opinion FM23 is the best till now if we’re talking about physics.
Yet you compare a simulator where they only simulate one specific class.
Yes. It’s better than before. But im not comparing to only acc. Im comparing to iRacing, AC-Evo, AMS2… all of them have multiple car classes and in all you can feel the car while using a fanatec wheel. That’s my point. If you only want to press the trigger and race, then physics down matter.
full throttle up a hill is not hard.
Bro come on. We all know you’re very fast and very talented when it comes to FM, but unless you’re a real-life professional race car driver, do you really think it’s so easy for anyone to just jump in a car with 6, 7, 800+ horsepower at a place like Spa and just floor it through Eau Rouge/Raidillon?
with about 2000-3000lbs of downforce, yeah. They do it all the time. I don’t reckon it takes a lot of thought to full throttle and turn slightly.
That’s not really what I asked, though. Professional drivers have had years of practice and training and conditioning. The average person has not and would likely find it extremely difficult, if not terrifying. That’s the thing with professionals of any sort…they make the difficult seem easy.
I only play with the wheel man, I feel the car, maybe you have to work a bit more with wheel settings…
