Grinding and Grinding on autopilot

,

Same! I simply don’t have the time. Plus you forgot to mention that every 15 mins it ask if your still there. At least on Xbox it does. There is no way around this that I have found at least. But, the truth is everyone does it. So, why hate on it. If a noob max out his car, it doesn’t make him better. He still has to learn to drive. I for one am glad that there is a way to get at least a few way lvls for your car instead of paying money. Because of they switched to that, then you will have to same issue. A noob pays to max out his car and repeat the cycle!

  1. Plug wire into controller to prevent controller going to sleep
  2. Press down on control pad to open telemetry to prevent game detecting your afk. They really just added this to assist with afk leveling which they encourage.
  3. Go into Xbox settings and disable idle reminder

You couldn’t of said that any Better. I Have Played Every FM & FH & I notice Every subtle Differences with Each Game. Not to Be Rude or mean to Anyone But whoever says It’s Exactly the same Haven’t played Every Game Long Enough to Even Notice Even the Slightest Differences & Call Themselves a Fan i have played over 800Hr on FM7 probably a thousand on FH2| over 500Hr on FH3 & I tune all my Cars Myself

I tried but it still stopped after 15 mins. I have all my power options changes to never shut off, controller the same. Had the telm up on on tire wear. Still stopped at 15. Anything I m missing??

Watch a tutorial on YouTube. Plenty available.

And/Or just rubberband the right stick in a direction.

I liked the grinding idea at first, but it’s way too long and turns out to be huge waste of everything, so fully agreed.

Thinking of keeping a servant or an intern for $10 a day to keep AFK’ing all my cars.

Auto drive can be accomplished on both pc and console without the use of in game features if you know what to get and how to set it up. So it would not matter if the game had auto drive or not. Just like you can use a wii controller on any xbox/playstation and vise versa or any playstation controller on any xbox and vise versa or mouse and keyboard on any console to its full potential

This is a logical fallacy. That because some people are always going to do X, we shouldn’t care so much about making such things part of the actual game. Can you imagine if your new controller came with a set of rubber bands to allow you to do this stuff? Is that how MS ships their stuff? No?

Anyway, I’m out here grinding all the same, not using these things as some snit-fit over my perception of the game. I know what happened to people that did this in Horizon… tread carefully folks.

Have afk for 8+ hours straight and never had it quit as long as the telemetry was up. If your controller is turning off its because you dont have the right usb-c cable as not all cables provide power+data. If you have the wrong cable it will still turn the controller off after 15 minutes or whatever. There are also third party devices that allow any controller to be used with any console that plug in between the controller and the console and if those are used it will cut off the controller after 15 minutes regardless of what cables are used for some reason.

Its not like it was put in the game specifically for people to use as an afk method. It just so happens it can be used for that. Why should we care how someone plays their game? If you afk level your cars it has absolutely zero effect on my game and vise versa.

If Im high up on a leader board with no assists and a player beats me with full assist then ill swap to full assist and take my spot back or just beat them again without full assist…Im not gonna complain to much about how they beat me as long as it wasn’t blatant modding etc. As for horizon the devs just think they slick. Plenty of ways to safely farm still both afk and non afk  They honestly cant stop it without taking the servers offline for good as in game assists aren’t needed they just make it easier sometimes.

The problem is not the accessibility features or that the game allows it, the problem is the people who decide to use them for AFK, I say this as a truly blind player, I use most of the aids for now but because it is my first simulation game races at this level and even so my goal is to practice and practice to be able to run without assistance, which is also why I want to buy a set of cockpit, steering wheel and pedals

I just want to go on record here and state unequivocally; I do NOT use AFK to grind in this game.

:rofl::wink::thinking:

I use HDL when I grind.

That’s Honey Do List. All you married guys will understand!

turn collisions off, make sure all assists are to the most auto they can be (brakes, steering, gas/accel, transmission)

This seems to have done the trick after the latest update :pray:t3:

Didn’t they come out with a patch that made this not work anymore?

yeah its wonderful, they actively broke something that actually worked in the game just to spite people, while ignoring the endless game braking bugs that make career grinding pretty much pointless.
