Greatly appreciate any help resolving this issue

If I select my cars it doesn’t load the garage and freezes. If I enter a race it does the same thing. When I look at my tunes or designs it says no files. I called Microsoft and they had me do a number of things. Including the basic reset modem and hard reset. One of them was a system reset. They said choose the save games and apps option, so I still have all my stuff. They said what it would do was if I had a corrupt file it would delete it. I told them well if I have one it will be on Horizon 3 because that’s the only game I’ve played since this started. They told me a lot of people were having the same issue with Horizon. When I started the game up for the first time the same freeze happened. So it must not be a corrupt file.
About a week later I decided to mess with it again. I clicked my cars and it did the thing where it kind of looks at my current car but doesn’t load the garage. I let it sit as I have done before and give it plenty of time to load. It did load after 6 minutes but about half the cars didn’t have a picture for it. I clicked the get in car and it froze. After a bit I quit game and started over. Then the garage loaded more quickly. I even got in a online free roam and did some races from the parking lot (airport drag) but when I went to pick another car and it froze. So I quit game and tried again. Now the garage won’t load and freezes. As always I can get on the game and just drive around but if I do anything that requires me to pick a car it still freezes.
This is the digital copy. I’ve had it since the game came out. I know there are several people that are having this problem. Is there someone that knows a sure fix for the problem I’m having? Turn 10 if you need more information on this issue I will be more than happy to work with you to get you any info you need to help resolve this issue.
Thanks in advance for a help given.

Likely a corrupt save but I only base that off of what you’re describing of your garage, where they don’t have previews and such.

Have you uninstalled and reinstalled the game? If you try this when you uninstall DO NOT delete saved game just choose game only.

Has Microsoft recently changed how uninstalling works? When I got my Xbox in 2014 I could only either delete the save by itself or uninstall everything related to the game, save data included.

Just looked up the latest support advice on this and yes they have changed it.

So my suggestion is do not delete save data. Uninstall the game which is game and dlc. Then reinstall the game.

The old method was Game/DLC or GAME/DLC and saved game.

Thanks guys. I have not done the uninstall yet. I was hesitant about doing it in fear of losing game save.
As far as a corrupt file Microsoft told me the system reset but save games and apps would take care of any corrupt file.

Tried the uninstall and reinstall and still the same stuff happening. Any other suggestions that I might could try?

You could try signing in on a friend’s (or Microsoft Store) console/network. If the same thing happens then it would seem to be a save issue.

I had a friend of mine tried from his console. Same thing happened. So apparently it is a save issue. Is there a way to resolve it without losing everything? If not how do I even get the save off my profile?

It explains how to delete your save here

Have you tried playing offline at all

No I haven’t tried with the internet turned completely off. I have played like career/story mode instead of like online free roam. Same results playing on either mode.
Thanks for the link.

Try while disconnected from the Internet
There is an offline mode from within the console settings

It might get you past the point where your save is bugged

Wasnt referring to single player.. really that’s still online if connected to the internet
