I started this thread in FH4, so figured I get a jump on FH5.
So who are some great balanced tuners to follow? The all-around tuners.
I found …

But seems Grandma Driving is gone?
Any other recommended tuners?

I usually follow Nalak, GTZ Marple, Greeted Dust, Only Naps, Don’t Give a Deuce, attax Johnson, Ugrundy. Haven’t seen Lazy Data yet but usually pretty good too.
Haven’t seen any tunes from Marple yet, sadly, but Lazy Data is in
Rocklxd was IMO the best tuner in FH4, definitely a good follow.
Scaans and Ang3lr1pp3r make excellent tunes.
I’ll be uploading my tunes sporadically, most are all-rounder tunes in the Horizon game’s, unless i need the car to do something in particular. They used to be quite popular in the older games.
I think the last time i bothered keeping a post in the tunes forum up to date was back in FH2 or FH3.
I’ve only shared about 10 tunes so far, i’m too busy playing the game to be honest.
I used a few of your tunes in previous games Mashed. Always worked well for my style of driving. Just wondering but does anyone do or know someone that tunes cars while also keeping the original engine? I prefer to keep the cars in their original class so if anyone knows of a tuner who thinks like me, let me know. Never had to ask this before because for some unknown reason in Horizon 5 they no longer show you the engines displacement when browsing tunes.
Thanks Rami, much appreciated
I usually keep the original engine and generally don’t add aero in the Horizon games as i’d rather not lose the top speed in the open world. They usually only go up 1 class at most.
Having said that i have built an A800 AWD A-Team van (tune & livery shared) with a turbo’d v8 to explore the map, haha. I’ve 3 starred plenty of drift zones, speed zones and cameras in it. I’ve sent a couple of them as gifts to random players today, using the new gift feature
I like to tune cars to stay in their original class. An example would be the Lamborghini Huracan Performante, maxed out to S1 900 where any little mod will push it over into S2. Every option is tuned almost perfectly in my opinion including gears, thing can take corners like a beast and pulls out of corners at about the same speed as other cars on pro and unbeatable.
There’s an LFA I tuned for extreme amounts of grip and I’m able to place first on pro difficulty after two or three runs once I get the hang of the corners. You will probably be passed on straights but you make that up and so much more in corners. That’s not in the same class, it’s an S2 but it uses the original V10.
I’m the same with Rami, I enjoy keeping the cars in the same class, and if anything MAYBE 1 class above. I find it less fun when you turn a Honda Civic into an X class. LOL.
Rocklxd has come up a few times in my Google searching, so I’ll definitely try following them.
Im not a master by any means but I like tuning and seeing I made millions on Forza some players must enjoy some of them, but Im not sure how good they are so feel free to try maybe the Bmws M5 2012, M4 and Z3 2002. And I have a Audi 2009 RS6. All these are in original classes I think.

I am back and have already added my calculator to another thread. I build easy driftable cars for controller people with assists off and Manual’s. I also tend to make 500HP comp cars and other additions here and there as well. I have done custom tunes to just full on drift machines. I have shared a few RWD and a AWD tune out there and will be doing so when I can with affordability. I also stream my builds so people can learn and have fun just sliding around, and can give them a good glimpse on how to tune their own car.
Yes, everyone want’s to be that one greatest tuner, I just want to help people have fun and learn. Meh
My friends list.
I’m one of the most underrated tuners in horizon because I don’t socialize or play online. but here’s a goodie hoonicorn v2 for ya:
5,713 foot runway danger sign
#687 out of 3,330,000
top 0.0002%
share code: 119 629 547
I also have one of the most popular hoonigan rs200 tunes rn:
131 135 703
Well out of curiosity i downloaded both those tunes for the danger sign. Neither one made it past 750 odd meters which i understand for one of them labelled 2000 odd feet but the 5713 feet? 5713 feet is 1741 meters which is close to 680 better than i can do in the Jesko. How do you do it?
I’m in a contrary sorta place right now where I’m building offroad cars from typical road cars, and road cars from typical offroad cars.
I’m also avoiding meta cars. I have zero interest in driving the same meta car as everybody else when there are about a million cars to drive, just like I have zero interest in driving my fastest car at every single track on the map.
I’m currently in the process of building a different car for each Rivals track, which is soooo time consuming, but since the game is soooo broken right now, this is how I have fun. Building, testing, tweaking is my zen.
My build philosophies:
For B-class and below, I never use AWD swaps or forza aero, regardless of surface, and I try to keep as many stock parts as possible. This means the 1969 Chevy Nova that just passed your ghost at the Tapalpa dirt track was running RWD with no aero, stock engine, stock transmission, stock wheels, and stock brakes.
For A-class and above, I still try to keep as many stock parts as possible to keep the car at least looking stock, but I always AWD swap for offroad builds while still trying to avoid forza aero because forza aero is so ugly! For road builds I try to keep stock drivetrain, but obviously as cars get faster it gets harder to keep stock parts.
When I play the game, I turn off all assists, drive manual/clutch, and use a controller on xbox one x. My controller dead zones are set to default values.
Feel free to send me a friend request, especially if you play Rivals and you build your own cars!
In addition to Nalak28, Rocklxd, GTz Marple, and OnlyNaps, who’ve already been mentioned, I also liked MarcAkAwHiTe’s tunes on FH4. Almost all of his tunes are grip builds, so they aren’t always the fastest. But if you want/need a really grippy tune, they’re generally reliable. Right now, the only tuners I follow on FH5 are Rocklxd and Nalak28, but later today I’m going to look up all the other tuners I followed on FH4.
I see Ugrundy a lot—always putting out tunes for the seasonal events. Are Ugrundy’s tunes typically good? I’ve been underwhelmed by many of the one’s I’ve tried, but maybe I should give more of them a shot. There’s just so many of them he’s always putting out immediately at the beginning of a season, it makes me skeptical about how much care really went into them…
My experience is that Ugrundi’s tunes are good in general. Some are outstanding and some fall a bit short but I’m happy to find his tunes since they are very adequate to how I drive. It is possible that his tunes don’t adapt well to how you drive.
I’m gonna say me. I can tune anything for anyone. I will even work with someone over xbl to make them the perfect tune.
Ive only shared one tune in 5 so far but more will be coming.
