The reflections on some parts on some cars are extremely blurry. Below are two examples, and I’m sure there are many more. These are all on Performance RT mode on Series X, tried Visuals mode too but there was no difference.
There is also some issues with chrome exhausts and some other parts. The S209 below is a good example, the exhaust looks very blurry for some reason. Some rims and other chrome parts also have this issue, like on the supra below.
The game looks really good otherwise so it’s a shame that stuff like this kinda ruins it, hope it’s just a bug that can be fixed!
I’ve noticed the same issues like you’ve described - on both car exteriors and interiors too. With some interiors e.g. you’ll see blurry dials as if they’ve been patched in or something, along with blurry/low res carbon fibre while the rest of the interior looks fine.
There’s definitely visual inconsistencies in both exterior and interior modelling. Hopefully, improvements will come.

Yeah, hopefully it’ll be fixed in a patch soon!
Hello,
Are you seeing this issue on multiple cars or only the cars listed so far?
Can you please list the cars that you are specifically noticing this issue with and add screenshots or video?
Thank you,

It is not a bug. It’s a limitation of the Ray Tracing solution used by Turn10. The sample count is simply too low and the BVH not big enough (especially on Xbox Series X) . It affects all reflective materials in the game (which means all cars one way or another).
There’s no need to post more pics or videos. Just boot up the game.

Looks worse on metalic paint. Series x perf rt and visuals modes. Something is off with lighting shadows and reflections

It’s the same with performance mode. Sometimes it looks brilliant, then others the reflections don’t seem to work properly, self shadowing looks rough or the lighting on the car just looks ‘off.’ It can depend upon the car also; it’s like some render paint properly and other times the surface is almost plasticky.
