So I got to see “Rush” on Xbox video, awesome story and movie, and I now understand the “Silver and Gold” achievement. I know that the two big races from their rivalry aren’t in the game, but are there other tracks that Lauder and Hunt battled on?
On a side note, I also now understand why people are upset I about the Ring not being in the game.
Yeah, they seem to race at some of the same locations today, but the track layouts are vastly different today than they were in '76.
I’d rather see more of the modern Grand Prix tracks make it into the Forza (with the Ring, and Suzuka returning) before revisiting outdated track layouts. Not that I would turn away any Grand Prix tracks being added to Forza titles.
There are plenty of circuits still used today that used to host F1 races. I can think of Zandvoort, Kyalami, Brands Hatch and Mexico that were all good tracks but don’t feature in FM. And they really should. Fuji Gp in Japan hasn’t been in FM either thinking about it. There are many great current GP circuits that T10 could introduce as well as a host of other famous circuits that players would love to see.
one thing i will say: they said February will be a big month in Forza. and they said it AFTER the DLC was announced, and said, “more info to come on this later.”
mefinks teh nurburgring iz coming later dis month!!!

That’s 0/16 for '76 F1 tracks. Given that sad news, the tracks in FM5 make great substitutes. These cars are fun no matter where you drive them but they are especially fun on tracks with altitude differences such as Spa, Bathurst, Road Atlanta, etc.
