I’m currently browsing through the internet and have not yet found a good answer to my question tbh. maybe I didnt look at the right places though.
What I’m looking for is a nice entry level Force Feedback Steering Wheel for PC for Forza 7 which is not garbage. I am not sure how much value I can get out of it so I can’t spend a fortune on it, but I do not want to buy something cheap which doesn’t really feel good either.
Happy for all kinds of input and recommendations (EU based, so US only products might not be so good!)
id like to see an answer to this question too… maybe someday i will spring for a g920 but it would be nice to find a wheel for less that still has good quality
I use a G27 on PC but let me give you a bit of advice. It WILL make you faster but you WILL SUFFER FOR MONTHS BEFORE IT MAKES YOU FASTER. Back Fm2-3-4 in 360 days I bought a wheel and used it about 4 times. I was trash with it and even getting lapped. A few tracks where I didnt have to apply brakes or throttle control well I could manage to be decent at. After Fm4 I quit consoles and went to Iracing on PC. I built a “sim cockpit” of sorts and Iracing forced me to learn to drive and drive clean or get kicked out of races. From there when Fm7 came out I found the transition way easier than I expected but I now have years of sim racing with a wheel under my belt where-in when I jumped straight from controller to wheel I sucked bad.
Long story short. Wheel is better; but you will have to suffer through the first few months of learning how to drive and catch slides vs flicking a stick.
here is my current setup; I highly recommend building a platform for your racing if possible. I could not drive with the wheel on desk setup.
