Hi guys,
I’m considering getting a racing wheel. That being said, I was looking at the G920. However, this version is not available in Taiwan. only the G29 (PS3/4). Before I end up wasting any money, does the G29 with the PS4 buttons work on PC?
And more specifically, does it work with all PC racing games without workarounds etc? Or would I need to somehow find a 920?

Works fine on Windows 10 as long as you install Logitech’s software.
Also make sure your Windows is updated to at least Creators update since the Forza games require it for full support.
The LEDs on the wheel doesn’t work in every game, namely the Forza games, everything else no issues.
Others such as Project Cars, Dirt, Assetto Corsa, The Crew are all able to use the LEDs.
cheers, I just got the G29 a few days ago and it works fine. I managed to find a nice deal that offered the wheel, the shifter, a t-shirt and a bag for the base price of the wheel (Taiwan nr 1).
That being said, I feel like driving with the wheel is a lot harder than using the controller but I’m not sure exactly why. Either because I haven’t gotten the feel for it yet, or because I’m missing some crucial steering wheel settings in Forza/Logitech software, or both.
I just feel that the turning input f.e. doesn’t translate very well. With a controller, I can easily do twitch maneuvrs with agile cars like the LMP series. I have less success with the wheel.
Do you happen any good guides for setting up the steering wheel for Forza?
I;ve looked around, but I noticed a lot of the guides are fairly outdated (tweaking settings for the demo, or for outdated versions of the game where those settings no longer exist).
There is a wheel settings thread which will help dial you in some,however,there is a learning curve with the wheel,practice and practice,it will all come together!!!
alright, thanks. Practice is required for sure. Won’t deny, driving a fast GT/LMP car is quite a thrill.

I don’t know how to link but Raindancer is right,its on the 2nd page,called FFB,is it fixed,etc,etc,you will find the settings you need,unless some one who can link shows up to help.
It’s the FFB thread and it is huge, possibly the biggest thread on the FM7 forum, so you should be able to identify it when you see it, it’s over 80 pages in comments.
Please try to find it, it’s not hard, it is likely just on the second page.
Others have put a lot of effort into it.
You can expend some effort to find it.
Why don’t you get the G920 imported? So worth it. I use it and it’s awesome! (on both PC and Xbox)
Same wheels other than one being x box the other ps4,g29 also has the led lights.
It doesn’t justify the cost really, and warranty wise, if something happens to it ,it’s going to be a nightmare to fix it. Functionality wise, both wheels are the same from what I understand. The only extra thing I needed to do is fiddle with the button setup, but that was easily done through the Logitech software
I have 2 Thrustmaster TX’s,the dual belt system compared to the Logitech gear drive is so much smoother,if you can ever get a good deal,you can’t go wrong.
