Good A class road, dirt and off-road cars

Hey guys, I’ve been trying to get a decent car for each class and race type for online adventures, but A class seems to be my weakest class. Does anyone have suggestions for a good road car, rally/dirt and a good off-roading truck or SUV.

A class road Racing, Gremlin or Napalm Nova are my go to cars. Nova is also my go to car for dirt.
Offroad is either the Ridgeline Bala or Jeep Teailcat.
What you want to focus on is grip, no sliding through corners unless you like driving slow.
I have several cars tuned in A Class, but I generally stick to the above mention because they tend to grab more than slide around.

Don’t do road or offroad, just Dirt/Rally this time. For the latter, the 1974 Honda Civic can be tuned to be a great handling, very agile class A rally car with a lot of grip. It’s sweet for windy, technical rally stages as the top speed is very much limited (depending on your upgrades) in favor of max launch+acceleration as well as handling/braking. That’s what you’re gonna want of an A dirt rally car: grip (just as PurpleAlien420 says. Forget about top speed, it’s grip, acceleration and cornering speed (handling) that matters.
Other faves of mine are: 1971 Nissan Skyline 2000 GT-R, 1969 Nissan Fairlady Z, Datsun 510, 131 Abarth, Renault Alpine A110, Ford Capri, Ford Escort RS1600 and RS1800, 1986 Lancia Fulvia Coupe Rallye, 1965 Alfa Romeo Giulia Sprint GTA Stradale, 1973 BMW 2002 Turbo, 1960 Aston Martin DB4 GT Zagato, just to name a few.

Usually I find it easier to tune a classic car for a dirt/rally race than its modern descendents, as they can be made very light and nimble easily (don’t weigh as much to begin with). In general I put most attention to weight distribution (careful with motor swaps) and suspension, tires etc. for handling and grip, while trying to max out acceleration and launch during upgrading. In the tuning section, I pretty much follow the same principle.

Dirt/Rally in A class is a lot of fun, especially with custom routes without tarmac
