I have tried over a while that the gifts from the player disappears. And would like to know if it is others who experience it?
Could you specify what’s happening when you try to accept the gift - any messages or certain behavior on screen? If you can provide screenshots or video that would be helpful, along with information about your platform and which menus you were in at the time it happens.

I’ve had it occur as well.
Get notification of gift
Fast travel close to location.
Gift no longer showing.
Happened if I didn’t acknowledge the gift notification quickly as well.
Don’t get many gifts now to be able to repro with video

this has been an issue since launch. it’s about a 50/50 chance for me that i will actually get the gift or end up ramming into the barn…

Same issue for me. Pop up claims I have received a gift. Shows said location of gift. Drive to location. Nothing. Just a regular barn. No messages, no nothing.

This happened to me a couple of times.
Just this week nearly every day.
Seems getting worse than better.
Playing on XSX.
sometimes when i get a gift, it shows me the location on the map as usual, but there is no gift icon, just the normal barnfind one. And when i get there there is no gift
It has also happened to me, I arrive and there is nothing
I have 1000 hrs in fh5 and it only happened to me 2 times… the moment I get a notification I fast travel as close as possible to the barn find…then drive straight to it…this works for me 999.9% of the time…hope that helps, cheers

I’m pretty sure if it were to be selected to let’s just say anyone, then i think it just goes through every player and picks one at random and puts it at that barn for them to get (minus any new players that haven’t found said barn yet)

I get this about 50% of the time. I’ve stopped gifting cars as I’d rather take the credits than have things disappear into the ether.

To be honest, I haven’t been collecting gifts to know if it’s still an issue. Haven’t received a lot either to even try to confirm it’s still an issue 
It happened to me again some 2-3 weeks ago so it still is an issue.
It goes down like this:
- You normally get a message that xyz send you a gift.
- You normally see the map with the “gift-barn”.
- You can fast travel there.
- You drive to the barn itself but the icon for a gift is already not there anymore.
As a result (as @Ximot666 well described it) you ram into the barn instead of that the gift animation starts playing on approach.
It happens in about 20 % of the gifts. It happened since launch of the game but in the past it was more often.
As of now I could not find any reason why it happens or not. It seems to me that it is NOT happening anymore when you do not acknowledge the gift notification quickly enough.
This was the case in the past (as @robtichart well described it) but this seems fixed now. But as described above it still happens because of unknown reason(s).
Playing on XSX.
The problem I am having with it is that when the game loads up I get a message saying new gift car, then the game does its 2 or three little mini loads and boom, gift car icon is gone.

Seems not to happen anymore.
