someone sent me a gift.
i saw the message on screen butm i wasnt fast enough to hit the X, i saw barn but, dont know what barn to go to.
where is it?
is it in one of the 14 barns?
i doint even have a message in my mailbox from it.

So, it popped up that i got a gift car from another player. But the message disappeared very quick and now i can’t find it anywhere.
Anyone know what to do?!
happens to me time to time, I think it happens then I log in the game and go to festival playlist and start so search for a game (while in the H outpost or house) like H tour, the when I go outside the game prompt that I have got a gift and if I go to receive it while its searching for a match the game bug and wont let you receive the gift, the barn don’t apear on the map, but still has gift icon

And on a somewhat related note, on the outside chance I might be gifted a car, is it possible to decline taking possession of that car?
Yeah, I don’t trust a lot of things anymore, and I don’t want to take the chance of adding a car to my garage that has an inappropriate livery.
I don’t remember seeing that option but I could be mistaken. Maybe just not going to the barn but I don’t know if they expire. However, in your garage there is now a menu option to remove and report livery when you select a car.
You can receive your gift at any barn find location. you can also send a gift vehicle there also!!

i checked all 14 barns too.
so, now where do we get it?
I don’t know what to tell you other than the location of where you send and receive gift vehicles.
Maybe go to the Support page and “Submit a ticket” with as much detail as you know. Date, Time, Gamertag, etc…
Its not any barn, although in players defense it is poorly explained ingame. It displays a gift box icon in place of the barn icon where your gift car is. Confirmed when receiving a gift car.

Same problem here, I think it’s broken
Make sure barn finds are checked, so they display on your map. The location will be marked as Gift.
I received two today, a willy’s jeep and the new electric porsche. I also sent out two Tuned A-Team van’s as gifts, 1 to a random new player, the other to a random returning player. I don’t think you can choose an exact player to sent them too, just 5 different options. (Anyone, new player, returning player, Hall of famer, community contributor)

U have to press X if the Message appears then he sets marker where to go. Had 2 times and it was the barnfind location near my current loc after spawning in world.
You can’t receive them, I can’t send them anymore for some reason. “Gamertag has been banned from using this feature”.
Have you been banned from using any other features of the game? Sounds like you got an MP ban, assuming your Gamertag hasn’t been banned on the XBL network of course
Yeah, I checked and apparently the good old boys flag that never means any harm is somehow offensive, though I’ve never had problems before when running a General Lee paint scheme, or running around either game with the flag as a calling card on my rear bumper. Not meaning any harm or offense of course, just running around having fun in good old down-home country style. I have nothing against the devs for having done this, though I fail to understand it, as it’s not like it’s a banned symbol or anything. Misunderstood, sure. Harmful, not necessarily, but who am I to argue with the people who designed the game.
Last night, I started a race, and as soon as I started, I think it was Alex who told me that i was given a gift car. but couldn’t find it anywhere on the map. Tonight, another charater, one of the girls, said I’d gotten a gift car, and it actually showed on the map this time. So I assume it was the same car. It was a willies jeep.
That’s fine, but I wonder if there’s a way to decline the gift, and maybe like leave it there and let the next person get it. It’s fine now, when I’m still unlocking cars, but sooner or later, I’m going to start accumulating some duplicates.
Do you have to have all of the barn finds unlocked? The gift symbol isn’t appearing on any of the ones I’ve found, so I was wondering maybe it’s linked to what barn they send it from?

i loaded the game and got another gift
this time i hit the X and saw the map come up and the barn highlighted but, the text said complete on the info card
i didnt go the garage yet …
i look in my garage and i dont have the gift car.
if i had received the gift car then i would have 2 of the same car as it was dodge hemi dart which i already have.
so, that is 2 gifts so far and i didnt receive either of them.

They actually seem to be stricter with liveries. On Reddit, I’ve seen reports of people getting banned for having the Unsuspecting Van from The Fairly Oddparents. So the General Lee isn’t the only TV show car that can land you in hot water this time around.
