I gift all cars I get that I don’t need and tend to get a handful of Kudos as a result. In the last couple of weeks, though, these messages seem to have dropped, quite a bit. At the moment there are more days with no messages and I’ve not had a more-than-one-page amount for a few weeks now. Anyone else got any similar observations, be it gifts or downloads or whatever?

From the other side of the coin, I haven’t been gifted any cars in a while now. Such gifting isn’t constant, but it seems to have ceased, at least in the current series. Game bug?

Not seen any gifts for a while now and I also gift out any wheelspin car I get and no kudos received. I did wonder if somehow it’s been paused due to spurious gifting of the Audi Sportback recently in the same way the Mini FE was being flooded in gifts a while back

I think the overall drop in engagement is a likely contributor, but in my opinion, the use of the gifting system as a “recycle bin” for unwanted cars from dupes, wheel spins etc, lead to the avoidance of gift notifications for many. I know for me personally, I stopped claiming “gift” cars very early on in the game for these reasons. The PS onboarding might create a short term boost, but will be interesting to see the longevity for that player base.

I had gifted some cars a few weeks ago and got a “delivery” message on the same day. I’ve gifted two of these in the last couple days and haven’t heard anything so far.
I hope they aren’t lost somewhere in the system.

I’ve certainly seen a drop in gift delivered notifications and gifts that pop up for me to collect. I do gift out multiple cars each week but I get the feeling that the drop off in player base for a game which is all but abandoned might the reason
It may pick up once the PSN folk join us but I think the game is dying with the Xbox players

I’ve not had notifications for my gifts yet (almost 100 sent in the last week) but I did receive 2 gifts within 30 mins after nothing for weeks so I think something has changed recently

The team has been working on this issue. Due to the backlog of gifts, the kudos and messages may take a while to come through, but you should start seeing these shortly.

The ones which I gifted last season just arrived.
But I think I am still missing the ones from the season before.
Nevertheless the missing ones are not important to me.
I am glad that it generally works again.

I believe gifting is back and working properly. I did get quite a bit of activity in the past 24 hrs.

Now that Playstation is onboard, I’ve started working through my Secret Santa backlog, gifting to new players. Only got up to Bugatti, but also gifting wheelspinners; normally I take the cash but I don’t need it now.
I occasionally get a gift notification, but had lots a few weeks back. Wasn’t sure if it’s a playlist thing, like this week. Going on Max’s message above it was the backlog clearing.
