Online multiplayer needs a ghost lobby. It is that simple.
We need a way to race without being slammed or targeted. A way to enjoy the game because I , for one, do not enjoy the OMP experience currently.
I used to race about 10 hours a week and thoroughly enjoyed myself racing with friends and regulars in FM7’s ghost lobby. Now I am not enjoying it at all and I am down to about 1-2 hours a week.
Heck, there was more than one ghost lobby in FM7. Why no ghosting love in the current version?
My enthusiasm has waned significantly, as has my participation.
I want to love this game again.
Please, T10, please add a permanent ghost lobby somewhere.

The game in general needs better ghost mechanics, not only fully ghosted lobbies, but also high velocity impact detection - before somebody violently rams you they get ghosted, and the car should immediately be ghosted as soon as you’re off track, because most players don’t know how to reenter the track safely. Also cars that drive a certain amount slower than the race speed should also be ghosted to avoid faster traffic to ram into you, eg. when you crash but didn’t go off track you then should be ghosted until you reach racing speed.
FH4-esque no collision lobbies, would be amazing for beginners, visually impaired people or just players that enjoy this type of racing.

Hi all, guys! I’m a totally blind player of FM and it’s a great game for its accessibility; the best racing game for this. Ghosted publick races could be a great opportunity for all of us trying to compete without causing crashes and having many penalties for this. Thanks in advance for your help in making this game so accessible and great for all Blind and Visually diverse players.

Thank you sir, they could at least try it for one week. See how many come. It will be a lot. I will play every day. I guarantee I will be there and 100 others. I can’t play collision one race after the other. I will get frustrated by getting wrecked. I can do ghost all day. The ghost league was popular in Forza 7. 3-4 full lobbies of 24 at its height and that was just in Pinnacle. Look at your past records. I don’t know why they have forgotten. Do not make it Hot Hatch again. Boring. We had enough of that. Start with full C class. Rotate it every week to another class. That’s all we are asking. One rotating ghost lobby. No leagues just a lobby.

T10 couldn’t give us one ghost lobby. One. Everything but that is back. People will play. I don’t get the stubbornness. One rotating lobby. It’s not hard or a big deal. This why this game has failed. Features loved removed for no good reason and no explanation.

Agreed. I enjoyed that too. Leagues too. Both ghost and collision. Very popular. Gone. Ghost would be so much better now too with the track cutting penalties. Let’s get some more votes people. I’m not sure it matters now but we really don’t know.
