I was racing in the Ghost League category S this afternoon and came in second in a race. When the results were posted I showed as number 3. in another race I was first (very unusual) but when results went up I was number 2. In both cases, usertag “remdinilofcn” was listed as first. I didn’t watch as closely as I might have but did note that one racer appeared to have stayed at the start/finish line for the whole race. In the next race I stayed next to the car that did not move and pulled a foot or so ahead of it. After a couple of laps I was disconnected for “inactivity.” When I returned to the lobby the usertag I mentioned was no longer in the lobby and all races proceeded as expected.
Have seen this sort of thing frequently, particularly if you’ve crossed the finish line and looking at the interim results whilst waiting for others to finish.
Seems to relate to people whom have left the game in a non-graceful way (eg power failure, internet problems, game crashing back to dashboard) and only effects the results whilst the race is still in progress. Once the race ends and the proper final results are displayed you’ll find the affected gamertags will be down the bottom as DNF’s and things are as they should be.
If not i suggest grabbing a screenshot as a picture paints a thousand words…
I’ve seen times when the lobby seems to split where some racers are not visible…their cars will sit on the start in your game…they are racing and the results fix themselves after the race
I’ve also seen this and it’s not lag. I was first or second the race. While in second the leader crashed I won, but it showed FILIPE SAAS won. He was no where to be seen racing the whole race except sitting on the track. HES CLEARLY FOUND A CHEAT
