Ok so I’m fairly new to tuning cars on forza and never really know what the hell i’m doing…But I love Drag racing and I Love my Buick Regal.
Can some people on here help me achieve the best drag setup for my buick, I’ll list all the parts i’ve bought on it and can you guys tell me what is the best way to achieve nice times in it.
I swapped the engine for the 5.9L V8 and it is AWD
I have all the race parts and tires and stuff are the best I can get I think, Anything which made the stats red I didn’t put on. How should I do the tuning?
Remember it pays to be nice and if you put a bit of effort in maybe you will find someone who will put a bit of effort into helping you. If you cant be bothered to list the specific parts, why would you expect people to bother helping you ?
Whoa Dude ‘‘Remember it pays to be nice’’ My post is not distasteful or Hostile in any manner, I’m being nice but having a family I did not have the time to list all the parts so I put this up for starters.

Compound: Either Race or Drag depends sometimes mostly Drag though obviously

Rear Tyre width: Upgraded 345/35R16

Front rim size: Stock 275/45R16
Rear rim size: Stock 345/35R16

Front bumper: Stock

Actually No ahaha, Like I know nothing about the tuning on Forza I just make so everything goes green and the rating goes up Stupid I know but I always thought Higher the rating faster the car.
nah not stupid just someone trying things out. i know that car can run 8.5s rwd in the 1/4 mile , i dont mess with awd too much. another question are you trying run 1/4,1/2, or 1 mile drags in this car ??
Id like it to run 8.5s in the quarter, I’m prob looking for a 1/4 mile tune and a full mile tune. I converted it back to rwd last night and it seems to run better/smoother.
I haven’t messed with the gears, psi, Differential and all that tuning yet so can’t say how it will run as I have no clue what I should be looking for on the left hand side while I’m tuning for 1/4 and full mile.
lol i never really paid any attention to the benchmark readout , front tires at 55 rear at 30 , gearing set 4th gear so it tops out at 175mph ish then set 1-3 keep them close ratio since the 5.9L has a high rpm powerband, if you have upgraded the front tire width put them stock, try this for suspension front springs super soft , rear springs a max stiffness, ride height raise it to max front and rear, front rebound soft, rear rebound,front and rear bump set at 13.0. see if this helps any ( these settings look funny but they do work for 1/4 mile anyway )
~Thanks for posting this. I was just doing some tuning on Drag racing last night and was going with the same things that Reaper Mech stated and it helped out my times alot. (Then I got lazy toward the end and used someone elses tune I wish I remembered the guys name I would mention him here)
