I’ve been tuning cars for a few years in forza, but I can’t seem to break the 9 second barrier in RWD on forza 5. A buddy of mine downloaded some tune for a GNX that is running 8.8’s or better in the 1/4 mile and I can’t touch him with anything. I’ve tried several different cars, but once I hit 9 seconds, no matter what I do, they won’t go any faster.
I’m at a loss, is there some glitchy trick that his tune could be exploiting or am I just missing something?

I’m actually looking for a car OTHER than a GNX, and I’m not really looking to have a tune built, but for some pointers to break that 9 sec RWD barrier that I’ve run into.

I built a RWD syclone the other day using the 5.9L Race engine, fastsest I’ve ran so far is 8.7s with no assists n clutch and im still fine tuning
The solution to all your problems, the 1979 Z28 if you have the DLC. Mine runs 8.7s. Also, without the DLC, the 2013 GT500 is good. Mine runs high 8s, but the right tuner might get 8.8 or better with it. For my Z28, I use the standard wheelie tune( can be found on youtube ) and I adjusted the final drive ratio. I am using the 5.9 Liter V8. Same exact thing with the GT500except I am using a twin turbo arrangement on the original motor to make 1,041 hp. I also tuned the Ford Foyt #14 Gilmore Coyote to run 7.9s using this tune. Try it out!
I’m looking for a hand as well. Can anyone recommend a sub 9 second drag tune for either a '70 Camaro, '13 GT500 or the Coronet Super Bee all RWD and all running 9.3’s it’s so frustrating. Friend requests are welcome.
