Getting FM5, but no XBox Live?

Hi,

I’m very close to my X1 + FM5 + FH2 purchase.

I have a major concern though: is X-Live available in ALL SE.Asian regions? How about Pakistan?

The first thing I want to do after installing M5 and H2 is get the free DLC tracks and cars. Eventually, I might be racing with some of you guys online as well.

So, any issues connecting to XBox Live? I can’t really return the console after making the purchase. So I need to know for sure. It’s a PAL console, just so you know.

Unless someone here is already in your region and can answer, you might want to ask Microsoft that issue directly. It’s a big investment.

Doesn’t matter if someone from the forums connects from the same region or not.

A T10 member should have this info on his/her fingertips. It’s black and white right? It either works or doesn’t.

You’re absolutely right.
And absolutely going totally wrong about contacting a T-10 member.

MAYBE one of the mods here can help you with that.
These forums are not the proper OFFICIAL way to contact T-10, especially on techincal matters involving a considerable financial outlay on your part.

PM Windswept or Snowowl or one of the others, maybe you’ll have better luck.

Yet, this does not confirm you can actually buy stuff from the local Microsoft Marketplace and might need to buy/connect to (for instance) the Korean or US Marketplace. This also influences how & where you pay for stuff like ordering overseas gift cards.

There is only 1 way to find out: contact Microsoft!

And… yaaaaaaay! Eagerly awaiting my console. I need Xlive to get all free DLC for FM5 and H2. I’ve never bought DLC, doubt I ever will. But my purchase does come with a 14-day free Xlive Gold trial, so I might join some of you lads for a little online hioctane action.
