One thing about Horizon is that when you jump straight into the game you have the opportunity to drive exotic cars right off the bat which isn’t a bad thing but it’s WAYYY to easy to be able to achieve these cars as well as make money therefore, I personally feel super wheel spins should be ditched entirely.
All you would need to do is overhaul the current wheel spins to give some better rewards and it’s fixed.
Right now im sitting at almost 100mil credits which I have earned legitimately without the need for any exploits (selling cars and races) and I have nothing to spend it on as I like to keep my garage clean and free from annoying cars you never drive that you win in wheelspins.
You can change the difficulty in the game obviously but this only makes you earn more credits when completing races.
All in all, the Forza economy is still broken and events need to have smaller payouts or the game just needs to be harder to beat.
I have almost 1,000 hours logged in the game and I literally can no longer win anything in wheelspins that I don’t already have. My suggestion would be to alter the festival playlist to include more non-wheelspin rewards
Not really, super wheels spins give too many rewards, especially for cars that you dont want plus the endless amount credits you already have, super wheel spins are pointless once youve beaten the game. What benefit does it have, just like kudos… ?
Well now that you bring up dopamine hits, that’s exactly what wheelspins do anyway. You’re right I don’t have to use my wheelspins at all and can completely avoid them but your comment about young people needing a dopamine fix has nothing to do with my original post, its irrelevant to the thread
When a car comes up there’s a choice between a car or cash every time.
Getting a car imposed upon you is some kind of torture when you’ve got all the cars you want & your garage is virtually full. I’m at the stage where I’d much prefer an emote or clothes than a car. And that’s not right for a car game for me to associate cars with so much negativity.
Interesting debate however personally I feel that super wheelspins aren’t too good but rather the frequency of them is. The game in my opinion seriously lacks a long rewarding progression system and rather focuses on short term rewards like fast cars straight away.
I think the game is too easy and in my opinion because it was designed with a rewarding participation attitude rather than rewarding winning and improvement in racing skill.
Super wheelspins I feel are rather an addition to this rather than being problem off their own accord.
Horizon is where I go to mess around. If I’m feeling more of a grind, I’ll play a different game. It’s comically easy… I made $40m selling two cars yesterday… The Auction House economy is a disaster, but I digress. Super Wheelspins are certainly not the easiest money making method, nor are they disproportionate to any of the other methods… The entire game is easy, it’s an arcade racer.
I don’t play the auction game so i sit around 1-4m cr most of the time. Normal and super wheelspins give me all the credits i need, just credits per race are gonna be pretty low considering a car that’s a playlist reward is 20m right off the bat
