Anyone else have this happen? Ever since I unlocked this perk my wheelspins (over 20 of them) have been pathetic… I’ve gotten one car and 35,000 credits once. Besides that the rest have all been under 20,000 credits, and most of them under 10,000. Is my luck really this bad?

This has been well thrashed out. Since having the better wheelspins perk my biggest prize out of about a hundred spins was a car worth 70K. That was it. Before that i got a Veyron and all sorts.
Just enjoy the game and before long you’ll have more credits than you know what to do with anyway. I’m sat on 20 odd million iirc with nothing to spend it on. lol
I was more curious if other people had the same thing happen than mad about it. I have plenty of credits in game, I just don’t understand why the spins I get noticeably dropped in value when they should have increased.
Funny, I just did my first spin since posting this and got 110,000 credits. Maybe if I keep complaining the Forza gods will keep giving me good ones
I see no problem with the perk. The spin is random and it generates a new random number every spin to determine the prize. The same way that statistically 2 flips of a coin should reveals heads and tails on time each but in practice you can land on heads 5 or 6 times in a row.
The perk does exactly what it says. It simply increases the percentages for scoring prizes. For example:
Without the perk, the chances of getting 10K, 50K, 100K, and an LFA are 25%, 15%, 7% and 3% respectively.
With the perk the chances of getting the same prizes get increased so they are now 30%, 20%, 12%, and 8%. It increases your chances of getting a better prize, yes, but it also increases the chances of getting the lesser prizes and you may see them more because the percentages are now higher.
You can’t increase the likelihood of everything by x% or the ratios of a particular prize don’t change.
OP - I believe you are correct in that obtaining the perk increases the likelihood of a smaller prize and decreases the likelihood of a larger prize, but by the time you get the perk you probably already have more credits than you’ll feasibly need.
It may not increase the chances of all prizes, but it does increase the chances of the harder to get prizes. The chance of winning 3000 credits will remain at 50% but the chances of winning a car valued at over a quarter million credits increases from 5 to 8% for example…
In anyway. I started a new game yesterday and had earned almost 750K credits before finishing the first tutorial road trip so what’s the issue in earning money again?
Yes, really random. I was shocked a few days ago, receiving a car (which I didn’t have) instead of the credits. But it had been maybe a couple months after receiving anything significant or of high credits.
Yeah I know, it leaves me wanting for more as well.
Don’t know how many wheelspins must have done by now; I hardly ever win a car or serious cash. I’ve probably won only 2 cars since I’ve had the game (purchased by X1 about 3 months back).
There’s no way to control the spin either. Oh well.
I don’t remember getting this perk, but I have all of them so I must have it. I get Prize cars all the time, its not always the best car but a good quarter of my garage are probably free wheelspin cars.
Didn’t know you could get the most expensive car in the game with a wheelspin I know it was one of the prize cars in the first game. Since I almost have all the cars in the game I really can’t complain too much, although I probably got the top cash prize less then 3 percent of the times and the perk to get better prizes was one of the first ones I unlocked.
Damn that’s lucky I didn’t know you could even win anything better than an LFA so far that and an SLS are the best I’ve managed but usually I get between 3,000 and 12,000 credits each time. But what you gonna do huh? Lol I make my money from head to head races.
