When going from 1st gear to 2nd gear with the wheels spinning and as the tires attempt to gain optimal traction, the sound of the engine revs cuts out.
This happens to any high HP or boosted car. So if there’s enough power to make the wheels spin in 1st gear, the sound of the engine will cut out momentarily when you go into second gear with the wheels still spinning. It’s only when the wheels regain traction in second gear that the engine sounds returns.
I don’t have videos as it happens in all cars with enough HP to make the wheels spin off the starting grid. It happens only once though and that’s at the start of a race.
Please roll out a fix for this. Long overdue.
I noticed this also thought it was just me. Here’s a short video clip.

No, this is a different bug. It happens ONLY once at the starting grid when the race begins. Spin your wheels, and as you shift into second gear with the wheels still spinning AND then regaining traction, that’s when the engine revs go on vacation for a while.
I’m surprised this is still unaddressed after multiple updates? @JetPartySalad @ManteoMax
It’s always 1st to 2nd shift for me, I’ll get a better video later.
Yep. That’s where the bug is - when the wheels are spinning between shifts. As soon as the rear wheels regain traction, the engine sound returns.

Can we finally have a fix? Ruins race starts!
All cars have a bog sound issue when starting a race seems like. In this car I shift to second and you hear it bog around 5500-6000rpms it’s like the sound glitches or something idk. But I finally got it in action. Hope y’all can take this info and find it and fix it. Again for all cars and randomly happens anywhere. Thanks
Another vehicle for example seems like same or close to same rpm window.

Very glad to see this bug logged. Now, hopefully, we will get a fix to this once and for all in a future update. Happy motoring, lads!
