Yes, that may be a possibility. Although, this happens only and exclusively in high-powered cars that spin their wheels and regain traction between 1st and 2nd gear - not otherwise.
Happens with every car I drive, even low powered E class cars.
Weird, Iāve never noticed this in a low powered car.
Oh wait, Iām mostly hotlapping my boosted cars in the game and hardly drive any stock cars. Itās definitely an issue in their physics engine, in that case, which they havenāt resolved even after 1.5 years.
Poor quality standard, to be frank.
Still happening - sound delay / whatever you wana call this issue.

Yeah, unfortunately. Thereās no end to it. My motivation to keep playing the game has sunken down to practically zero.
Back to FM5, 6, and 7. Happy times!
Whoās still here in 2025?
Haha, not me. Gave it a chance. More than a year later, still a disappointment.
Its not fixed because they donāt know how to fix itā¦so they choose to cleverly word a not fix to sound like a fix
Rightā¦
Issue still persists but differently. When drifting around Fujimi I noticed the sound issue return.
Atleast it wasnāt at the start of the event. If I can get it to repeat Iāll try to save a video of it.

Also, why is it that the sound of the front tyres scraping along at the peak grip level is no longer all that audible? I think this has been happening for a few updates now but never got addressed.
Tbh I donāt know. I think my tire volume is set around 40ish? Wana hear my engine above all else.
Maybe they made some internal sound changes somewhere along the line?
I think they did. The tires do not speak up at all when I do full analogue stick lock, neither does the controller vibrate.
We are closing out this issue. The developers have noted this issue as Fixed as of Update 20 on 05.05.25
