So basically I’ve had this problem for a couple days now, I’ve tried pretty much everything I’ve read in other forums. For instance, clearing the rams standby memory, resetting the game, uninstalling the game, deleting windows updates, closing processes and disabling services in task manager and so far nothing has helped me at all. I own the games pass version of the game on PC.
The problem I’m having is when I boot the game and press continue I get a window pop up saying “syncing data we should be done soon” and It never goes above 0 percent. I’ve waited hours and still nothing, I even cancelled the syncing knowing it might get rid of my save to bypass it but still nothing. The game continues to load whilst the video is paused(with the background music playing). I honestly can’t understand why I’m having this problem as the game has been working fine previously, I’ve never had any issues at all with this game at all up until recently. Thank you for your time I’m hoping you’ll be able to help me resolve this issue.
I’ve had the same issue since the last update despite reinstalling. Haven’t tried the other suggestions but a) I don’t want to screw up something else and b) I’m betting the result will be the same.
The fact that multiple PC players are essentially locked out of the game and neither PG nor T10 have said boo about it publicly (just acknowledging it exists, much less announce they’re working on a fix) is rather galling, to say the least…
Just let the game open all night and be sure that the window is active (in front), it took 4 hours to synchronize my save data! don’t minimize the game or the sync will be paused.
