Game map broken

yes ive already tried to restart it, no it didn’t go away.

This seems to be tied to the latest Windows 11 Security update “KB5074109”.

Users are apparently fixing it by rolling back that update specifically.

Try rolling back your Windows update if you’re on W11 and seeing if that fixes it, I’ve attached a guide above from Microsoft.

If it does then please let me know.

“Thanks for the update! I’m having the exact same issue here. At first, I was really worried that something was wrong with my graphics card, but it turns out the Windows Update (KB5074109) is the real culprit. I’ve already voted and commented on the bug report. Really hope Microsoft or the devs fix this as soon as possible!”

I had this problem as well. Uninstalling KB5074109 fixed it. Still waiting to hear back from forza support.

Well, this do seems to be the solution. Uninstalling 74109 will do. I will keep playing it for a while to see if the problem happens again.

Hi,why my NVIDIA app cannot use the optimized? Then log in to game did’t have DLSS option, now I use the NVIDIA version is 591.74,last version I use 561.09 but can optimized then cannot use/did’t have DLSS option. Please give me a answer and dell with it in a timely manner, thanks

Same problem here.
I tried to remove the Windows update in every way possible:

  • Through Windows Update;
  • Through the command line (wusa and dism)
  • Through advanced restart

None of these Windows options allowed me to remove the update, so I am waiting for a fix.

I can confirm, because I had graphical glitches in FH5 immediately after the update.

Uninstalling the update helped.

For me, it was enough to delete the FH5 cache located in the directory C:\Users\yournamehere\AppData\Local\TMP\Turn10Temp.scratch while the game was stopped, and then restart the game. The FH5 cache is then rebuilt upon starting the game, and the graphics errors no longer occurred. You can also back up the directory beforehand, just to be safe.

I’m on win 10 and have the same issue

This didn’t work for me. Win 10

Turn10Temp.scratch track and track_x1 deleted from the graphics folder.

It rebuilt the cache.

The same Windows Update rollback fix has been reported to work for both W10 and W11 from what I’ve been told.

This have solved the problem for me, thank you!

Nvidia said it is aware of the problem. I believe we will have a fix soon.
