Game freezes after applying upgrades, progress lost (after update 1.1)

Very sorry for everyone who are still suffering with this. 6 years of development and this game has been nothing but a disastrous letdown.

XBox Series X Player here.
I have the same issues, plus the game doesnt save my progress. My workaround is: Do a race and save the replay. Thats the only way to save the game manually. Unfortunatly after two or three races the game crashes again. It says “No data for saving available”. So I do one race, save the replay and restart the game.
I go the same way with tuning and do it only outside the builders cup. Restart the game, tune your car, restart the game, race one event, save, restart.

Forza Motorpsort “Build from the ground”!!
But the shop works fine and we have many good cars that you can only buy with real money or as a VIP member.

Same thing for me and when I upgrade parts the game freeze and i had to restart all races, the game don’t save, the update1.1 don’t solve anything.

Same thing for me, the update 1.1 didn’t fix anything!

The new patch didn’t work for me either. Same problem as before. Played on PC for the first time today, but the same infinite loading screen as on the Series X. Almost 3 weeks now and the game is still broken. Ridiculous.

Here are the information. Even if it definitely has nothing to do with the platform, drivers or hardware.

Gameplay circumstances: Premium Performance, 2019 Porsche Carrera S, Applying Upgrade
Track Specials, Buying Car, lost the progress of 1 race both times
Platform: Windows 11, Windows Store Version
Edition: Game Pass + Premium Upgrade
Account: solo account
PC GPU: RTX 4090, 545.84
Peripheral: Xbox Elite Controller
Settings: Ultra
Attempted fixes: Tried every workaround from the previous thread…
Content Update: Problems since October 5th. on Xbox Series X and PC

Indeed… STILL THE SAME PROBLEM. TURN 10 GET YOUR ASSES OF THE COUCH AND FIX THE GAME!
Lost progress AGAIN!
Still when you play the game as it should, using fuel achustmant the game gonna freezes on saving… Ore ubgrading your car.

100 euro’s down the drain. What a mess!

Thanks T10 - hotfix didn’t do didley squat to fix the screen lock up on applying upgrades.

More time wasted. Thanks for allowing me to NOT play the game and save progress after putting down $100.

I have 9 level 50 cars, and have not completed the first series in career.

I have 9 cups though, and done the same races dozens of times.

All the suggestions to work around the crashes are Halloween costumes.

This might sound obvious, and to be honest, I could have SWORE that I did this. But as above, I was having these issues.

Go to control panel and power settings. On my screen “High Performance” was in Hidden Plans:

I changed it to High as you can see, and the games runs so much better.

Gameplay circumstances: KTM GT2, during the features event, has been happening for 2 weeks now, have finished the championship 5 times but keep getting reset.
Platform: XSX
Edition: Standard, had to refund premium due to the ongoing issues.
Account: Solo.
Peripheral: XSX controller.
Xbox Settings:No parental control, always reset game before playing.
Attempted fixes: Had a support ticket in the last thread, have reinstalled game.
Content Update: Has happened since the premium editions early access.

Facing the same issue. It happens while applying upgrades to your car after a race, the “applying upgrades” screen keeps on loading. Race progression is lost while points earned remain intact.
I’m playing on series S.

I was trying to get in the ford gt…now i’m in a NOTHING. W.T.F T10???

Or a disservice.

All of this, the call for extra information, feels atleast two weeks late.

Same issue here on the Series X. It’s now infected buying cars, not just upgrading them. Really, any action that requires saving data has a big chance of staying on an infinite loading screen, and if I restart the game I’ll lose my progress from around the past hour. I know I’m not the only one with that issue.

Update 1.1, issue still persists with things other than upgrading cars. I tried buying a car after finishing a championship, I turned the game off after 20 minutes of waiting for the game to save that action and I also lost my progress from the last hour or so.

Gameplay circumstances: buying the 2015 Chevrolet Corvette Z06 C7 from the Autoshow
Platform: Series X
Edition: Game Pass with Add Ons
Account: different purchase vs playing account
PC GPU: -
Peripheral: -
Settings: Performance, no RT
Xbox Settings: the game always appears in Quick Resume even after deleting it from there
Attempted fixes: multiple reboot, the only outcome was losing progress
Content Update: 1.1, though the same issue was constantly happening since October 10th with upgrading cars

Copied and pasted my reply from a thread about an identical issue with upgrades.

All network tcp/ip communication from my computer to remote is good [with code 200], only partial fail [503] with v20.events.data.microsoft.com. That is what the log tell me when motoring network during play FM23 for around 4 hours.

When trying to see what FM23 sessions with internet with ProcessMonitor [Sysinternals | Microsoft tool ] , FM23 crashed. So I stop there.

Can not find abnormal on network on my side so far.

Would like some debug or monitor tools from T10 so we help from our side. as not all gamers hit the issue, so end to end check should do some help on spoting the root cause.

Dear T10 team, let us know if anything we can do beside report the issues, If hard to replicate the issues in your test lab/enviroment, you can share the test case/tools , I would like to spend some hours to work on this.
