Has anyone else noticed or experienced a marked increase in freezes and game crashes since this latest content update? I know games lock up from time to time, that’s unavoidable, but it seems that since this latest update the game has frozen or crashed on me much more frequently - one of which resulted in my profile becoming corrupt, and me having to start all over again (my lost paint jobs are the biggest frustration).
I’ve talked to a few other people who have experienced similar issues.
Actually, come to think of it, yes. And that’s been since my last huge update last night. Which was 1165mbs.
Once it restarted, there were a few Frozen Moments that occurred when going back through menus, changing things inside menues etc.
Hmmm, if this occurs with others, perhaps it’s an idea to mention it in support forums?

Numerous times, especially since my profile got hosed and I tried 5 times to re-sync it.
Bottom line - I was never able to rescue my profile (failed at 99% every time) and the game has frozen solid or crashed to the Home screen at least a dozen times since the last update. I’ve been putting marathon times in trying to get my driver level and credits up, though. Maybe i’m just pushing it too hard?
I would contact Xbox Support via the Contact Us link at the bottom (either telephone or direct chat support) regarding the 99% “failure”. Sometime it takes HOURS to go beyond that point, and you cannot do anything but have just the Xbox One console online (no other gaming) and stay away from using your Local Area Network (LAN) for any other activities.
Yep, done a hard restart mate, and as of this moment, haven’t found any issues. But certainly not to the level of loosing my profil thankfully.
So to the OP, sorry to hear that it caused you such grief mate…

Forget that. My time is more valuable to me than it is to anyone working for Turn10\Microsoft.
Yea it’s upsetting to lose all my custom paint jobs, but there is no way I’m spending hours on the phone with some 3rd party Microsoft hack trying endlessly to get it all back.
It didn’t just hang at 99% - it failed, 5 separate times, with the all too familiar “An unknown error has occured.” I can tell them exactly what the unknown error was - shoddy coding, and a back end run by a cut-rate support staff forced to use software they have zero faith in.
And by the way, the game just crashed again. 3rd time today.
I have been lucky for the last year and other than getting disconnected from lobby continuously when game first came out…no other problems. But the other day, after the update, on lap 3 of 4 in league racing the game made a short buzzing sound, then came a message that said “you have been disconnected from lobby” , then a flash of red color covering the entire screen briefly then the game reset as if I just turned on my XBone. This ended up happening twice last week but hasn’t happened again.
