Future car pack speculation.

You could call this a wish list but I wanted to know what other people think. There are a few cars that I feel would fill in a few of the small gaps.

E39 M5 - This goes without saying. I cant believe they have had the e34 and a whole bunch of other “meh” BMW’s but still havent added perhaps the most cherished M5 generation.

C7 RS6 Avant - I don’t know why they would do all the work to include it in FH2 and then not include it in FH3. I am a wagon fanatic honestly (love that they added volvo wagons) and would be sad to see this left out. (see also: B5 RS4 Avant)

Bugatti Chiron - They talk about it on horizon radio. Not exactly on my personal wish list but it’s kinda inevitable. I would be very surprised if it wasnt included in the final car pack.

Neon SRT4 - We have an abundance of european/asian compacts but for some reason the only North American compacts that we have are from Ford… not that theyre bad but variety is the flavor of life. (see also: Cobalt SS, Ion RedLine, Fiero GT, Omni GLHS, Mazdaspeed Protege, Caliber SRT4, Solstice GXP, Sky RedLine)

Mitsubishi 3000GT - Mitsubishi has made more than just Evolutions (see also: Mitsubishi Eclipse

Saab 9.3 Viggen - Because Saab (see also: Saab Turbo X, Saab Turbo X SportCombi)

Ram SRT10 - because 'Murica (see also: Silverado SS, Trailblazer SS, Ford SVT Lightning)

Honorable Mentions: Mazdaspeed6, Lexus IS300 (Altezza), Mclaren F1 LM, '95 Taurus SHO, '67 Shelby GT500 (Eleanor), Cadillac CTS-V WAGON, Magnum SRT8, Volvo C30 Polestar.

I second most of these.

SW20 MR2!! Call it the JDM legends pack or something, I don’t really care what else is in it. Oh and the AW11 MR2 for the barn find as long as we’re dreaming.

I would agree that it is unfortunate that the mr2 was in FH2 and not FH3. My main goal when I created the list was to fill in little gaps where there aren’t many choices with a few exceptions like the BMW and BUGATTI. We already have plenty of Japanese sports cars and cars from Toyota.

You have a BMW and an Audi on your list, There are 12 Audis in the game and 21 BMW’s while there are only 8 Toyotas so the plenty of Toyota’s math isn’t quite adding up. Its not as if the mr2 is just another Toyota, its rather different from the other Toyota’s and other JDM cars in the game.

It feels like he’s that kind of person who thinks every Japanese brand are the same and all Japanese cars are the same.

Which is hilarious since the “western” brands are the most guilty of badge-engineering the hell out of almost every chassis and platform, and the game somehow decides it needs to have multiple badge-engineered versions of the same car (Holden Commodore SS and Chevy SS comes to mind).

To be honest I’m quite tired of australian cars. I only really drive one or two regularly. Turn10 are using them to make a quick buck because they cost pennies to license in comparison to other cars.

As long as that 242 is a wagon we are definitely thinking alike

I said in my first reply to you that I acknowledged that the BMW and Bugatti do not follow the rest of the list. Super Saloons and Hypercars are definitely abundant in the game. The Audi is included because its a wagon. Think about the MR2 this way: of those 8 toyotas how many of them are smallish 4 cylinder coupes? The only ones that arent 4 cylinder coupes are the supra and the FJ40. I know its mid-engine but it is still quite similar to the others.

I agree, one of those 2 cars shouldnt be in the game. Your reference to badge engineering doesnt make sense, how is this topic related? I included several Japanese cars in my original post.

the next car pack is not the final, it is only the final car pack you will receive from the car pass. They usually release car packs until the next forza title is out

Oh interesting , I didn’t realize that because this is the first Forza that I’ve bought while still new. All of the dlc was already out when I bought previous games.

How many Australian cars are left? I know there’s the FX sedan, E49 Charger and at least one more Falcon but I doubt they’ll have all 3 in the final pack. Out of those I really want the E49 Charger as it’s a far more iconic car and along with the XA Phase IV and VK Commodore it was in my top 3 most wanted Australian cars.

Well they could release a few during FM7s dlcs

Australian cars that are missing (that were not leaked).

  1. GTR-XU1 Torana
  2. HT Monaro
  3. Ford XC Falcon Cobra
    4.Valiant Pacer

I’m kinda surprised that the 1967 Shelby Mustang is not included nor added via dlc yet. Since this car is highly requested and been pretty much in every Forza so far. And it’s one of the few oldie muscle cars that I do like.

The '67 GT500 has NEVER been in Forza. The '68 GT500 KR has, but not the '67. The '67 looks better and should have been the one the picked in the first place.

Yeah kinda mixed them up. In the newer Forza games we get the '69 Boss 302 earlier we had the '68 GT500 KR.

The 302 replaced the 429, sadly. The '68 GT500 just kind of faded away, sadly.

I have a feeling that its because of licensing similar to Porsche. I’m pretty sure Sony and EA have dibs on Eleanor. Same goes for the Mclaren F1 LM

My picks for final car pack.

E39 M5 or E60 M5
BA Falcon XR6/XR8/Ute
Ram SRT-10
95-99 Eclipse
Volvo 242 Turbo
Bugatti Chiron
Saab 9-3 Viggen

Barn Find: E49 Charger, probably at that barn near the outback festival.

Speculation usually has cause for reasoning. Proof if you like.

Excluding the Chiron, I’m pretty sure these don’t have, so this is nothing more than a wishlist and belongs in the relevant thread.

Pick 7.

Note: I did some rearranging of the OP.

Given the direction of FH3’s DLC where the only returning cars to the franchise are ones from the 360 era, I don’t think we’ll be seeing the BMW, Audi, Neon, and Mitsubishi. At least not as DLC cars. With Saab’s current troubles with ownership and all that, I doubt Saab will return, sadly (I miss my 99 Turbo). The Ram is possible though and the Chiron is borderline expected. Your HM’s would work too, except T10 traditionally doesn’t do more than one model of the same generation (some exceptions, of course), so I wouldn’t plan on the F1 LM or CTS-V Wagon coming in either. Not wanting to rain on your parade but just saying I wouldn’t be holding your breath at the thought of some of these cars as DLC. Combining your post and PJTierney’s post below, here’s my speculation, for whatever it’s worth.

March [Sponsor] Car Pack:
Bugatti Chiron
Jaguar XE-S
Mazda Mazdaspeed6
Chrysler E49 Charger
AMC Gremlin X
Toyota #1 T100 Baja Truck
Volvo 242 Turbo Evolution

If I say so myself, that’s actually not too bad of a pack

Definitely agree with your point on NA compacts though.

Ha! Basically. Just remove the Porsches, Lola, and 599XX and have at it.
