BONUS CAR – Forza Horizon 3 Duracell 2016 GTA Spano —> discussion thread
In addition to the seven cars found in the Duracell Car Pack, starting today Forza Horizon 3 players have a chance to add an additional car to their garage — the Duracell-themed 2016 GTA Spano. To get it, all you need to do is head to the Xbox Store and search for “Forza Horizon 3 GTA Spano.” Download the car at no additional cost and then restart Forza Horizon 3, and the car will be automatically added to your Forza Horizon 3 garage. Note that this car does not require players to own the Duracell Car Pack in order to redeem.

Chevrolet Camaro ZL1: IRL, this thing is a beast but for some reason, modern muscle cars don’t do it for me in the video game context. Probably because I’ve driven so many in real life.
BMW 507: always looking for a new Euro classic. Can’t wait to custom make some tournaments using only this, Benz 180, 250 California, C1/2 Corvette etc.
Land Rover Series III: classic truck is one of my favourite car types. The more the merrier.
Jaguar XES: Ummmm…
Ford Falcon: you mean there’s actually a Falcon that’s not in this game yet? Coulda fooled me.
Volvo 242: I know this is a cult classic many have been clamouring for, but I don’t see myself using it much past a few cross-country races.
NISMO: not a yuuuuuuge JDM fan, but this thing is awesome and I love that Forza has managed to secure some pretty cool cars they the GT series seems to have had exclusive access to for years.
Liking the look of this, glad the Volvo and BMW are back and been wanting a 70s Land Rover for a while to go against other offroad vehicles from the same period.
Nice selection. surprised about the free car TBH, didn’t see that coming… though i’m guessing as it’s not up on the store yet that we need to wait until the normal pack release time of day to get it?
The NISMO is a neat addition (especially if you’re old enough to have played Gran Turismo 2), but personally I don’t see any appeal in Car Packs. The base game has around 400 cars for me to enjoy whenever I please; missing out on 50 due to a paywall isn’t a big deal as there are many cars in the base game worth driving.
That being said, I appreciate the inclusion of a free car. Will download it when it’s available.
Well for me (yes this is only my opinion) it’s the weakest pack of the carpass. I was hoping for something great at the end, but it just isn’t for me. I guess the not included packs will have the better cars in them, just like FM6.
Even though I paid a lot less for the carpass I think it’s almost ok…really happy to not have paid full price though, but still…ah I won’t complain, it is a question of Tate in cars and you can’t make everyone 100% happy.
The Nissan looks to be one of the most interesting additions to this franchise in a while, and I’ve been waiting for the Volvo to return ever since FH1.
-The OK:
-Ford
-Jaguar
-Land Rover
-BMW
None of these cars are bad at all, they just don’t tug at my heartstrings like the Volvo does and mess with my mind like the Nissan does. I’m sure at least one or two of them will be interesting though.
The Bad:
-Camaro. Feels a bit redundant with the '16 model. Not a bad car, I just see less value in this one over the others. Suffers the same fate as the Volvo V60 from January. Not bad, just redundant.
I hope everyone else has at least one thing to look forward to tomorrow.
What’s surprising to me is that the 2017 Chevrolet Camaro ZL1 wasn’t even seen in the leaked car files (Is this right?). Maybe Turn 10 decided to create this car quickly before the car pack’s release.
