freezing

can anyone help me when i either want to change to a different car or to go onto the map my game freezes not all the time but alot can someone please help

First, try clearing your console’s temporary memory cache by holding the Xbox One’s power button (not the controller’s) until the console turns off completely. Then, reboot and see if the issue is resolved.

Its known to happen on the 360 version, are you using that same version?

Also on Xbox One, my system does the same thing about 4 or 5 times a day. I do the console reset every time but it always occurs again. I am thinking it is a bug. Has there been any official acknowledgement of this issue?

The console reset:
1 - Hold the button on the front of the console down until the unit shuts down.
2 - Unplug the power cord from the wall, or at least the wall-side cord from the power pack.
3 - Let sit, powerless, for about a minute or until the color fully drains from the power unit.
4 - Reconnect the power, waiting until the power pack shows a light orange color.
5 - Restart the console as you usually do.

Unless the power is removed completely, you’re just shutting the Xbox One off, and not actually doing a reset.

Yes, that is a reset and that is what I do 4 to 5 times a day while playing FH2, and my XB1 does not freeze from performing any other function but playing this game.

Ive had Horizon 2 freeze when I change a car as it starts to rain heavily, its kinda like I’m asking too much of the game and it has to pause to sort things out. Worryingly the screen goes dark as well and looks like its totally locked and needs shutting down. But thankfully it hasn’t gotten to the point where I have had to shut down the console (Xbox One) yet.

Well it had to happen didn’t it, yesterday Horizon 2 crashed back to desktop :-(. Horizon is the only game thats done that to me it must have something to do with the freezing I’ve been experiencing lately hope the devs are working on a patch.
