Good spotting. The thing is I play via gamepass and have not purchased any DLC for the game. Anyway it seems to have been a short lived glitch as I no longer have these perks any more.
I do believe I know how I triggered this but haven’t tried to reproduce yet. Before this occurred I was in an online race championship. Between the second and third race I had to stop playing so I turned off my XSX. An hour later I log back in but something glitched when starting the game so I turned off console and turned it back on again. Loaded up the game and boom VIP baby!

What the actual… I’m VIP again lol 
I just tried to claim a free car from the autoshow and was able to tune, paint and drive it and get car bonuses too… I’ll check back in a day or so to see if I still own and can drive this car.

I logged in today via quick resume and was still a VIP. So I decided to restart game and remove it from quick resume and now I’m no longer a VIP.
The VIP cars I got for free still appear in my garage but now an icon is displayed that indicates I must buy the car to drive it.
Interesting bug…
One day I logged in and found the game had granted me the goodies for buying the Forza controller - the old Ford Coupe FE car, the shirt and emote. I was able to use everything, but after a few days I couldn’t use the car from my garage anymore, I could only remove it. I haven’t unequipped the shirt or emote, but I suspect if I do, the game won’t let me use them again. I did pick up the Forza controller, though I haven’t redeemed the code for it yet. I should remove the shirt and emote before I do that, though.
