Hello everyone,
I have been having a frame rate issue with Forza Motorsport 7 ever since updating my AMD graphics drivers to 17.12.1 (Adrenalin Edition). The game overall is lagging severely and during a race the frame rate drops considerably, is never consistent and I never hit 60 fps. Previous versions of the drivers did not have this problem so it appears to have been introduced with the driver update. I previously could run the game at 1440p Ultra preset and got 60fps solid. I really don’t want to downgrade the drivers just to play the game as every other game I play works fine.
I am not sure if anyone else has noticed this but if anyone else is having this problem and was able to fix it I would appreciate some feedback. My specs are listed below if it helps at all.
Ryzen 1600X
16GB DDR4 3200mhz
250GB Samsung EVO SSD
8GB Sapphire RX580 Nitro+
