I know this is old news, but still, won twice on Nurburgring with a Porsche in free mode, and I still didn’t unlock the 356A. Come on, Turn 10, fix this damn last bit of challenge not counting glitch you got going on! I did three races in a Porsche only to not have the last one count since I quit racing after the third race.
I had to hit 180mph at Homestead twice before that registered. The 6 laps I did at Daytona didn’t register until I did 6 more. And I just spent the last hour or so completing half a dozen races in a Forza P1 division car, and not a single one has registered.
after doing one challenge do either the one from the other event or do another race and it should progress and you will get your car
I only have To the Finish Line to complete. I scored 18.3K on Prague, didn’t register. Quit and reloaded, nothing. Rebooted Xbox, signed out, and back into my profile, nothing. Ran it again, scoring 16.8K, nothing. Quit out of the game and loaded it again, nothing. Suggestions?
I have the same issue in PC. I tried 180mph and 15k drift again and again. Nothing happened.
After doing a challenge, dashboard, quit the game, and sign out of your profile. Sign in and verify it counted. It may and it still may not.
You’d think this would be an issue well resolved by now but every forzathon for two games now… Someone is slacking on the job.
I’ve found that I had to complete the challenges with clean laps - ensured this by creating 1 lap races where I was the only entrant and using a short track Catalunya School.
I’m setting scores with clean laps, and have posted scores over 15K, on several tracks, probably 15 times. I did everything listed about how to activate progress, nothing. When I turned the game on this morning, I inexplicably have 14.3K on my progress bar for the challenge. Seriously?? I should just let it go, but I’m frustrated, and don’t want to miss out on the car after doing what the challenge requires. If it was score 50K in one lap, yeah…ok, not able to do it, but I’ve done what’s required…over and over, in free play and rivals.
I managed to register the 15000k drift , after multiple tries only when going to free play on dubai with drift setting in game mode select set to 5 min. Did the 1 lap scored 20k then drove arround untill time went by afterward loaded up next raced quit game and when i relogged the drift registered.
double post
Wow thanks ! that worked for me too !!!
I have no idea why that worked when nothing else was, but thanks. Got it first try.
I too have all kinds of issues
For “speed is key” I’ve had to do each challenge twice I. Order for it to register.
Got the achievement but no car.
Rebooted the game and got it.
Now for “to the finish line” the “set a drift score of 15,000 in a Porsche” is stuck at 8489 despite me setting a score of over 20,000 three times over the past 36hrs
Now unable to progress
I did what the post above suggested but no go. Still stuck.
You need to do 15000 within 1 lap…not overall
And then complete the race …not quit
Have you quit out off the game completely and then restarted the game worked for me last night got the car no problems at all after doibg this
Nice that people are trying to help, but the issue remains. I bought the game 2 days ago, and I have completed multiple runs in a Porsche with 20k+ drift points in one lap and it never registers, multiple 5 lap races around Maple in a classic muscle car, never registers completion. I can shut the game down, reboot, stand on my head and sing the praises of pink marshmallow peeps, but nothing helps. Unfortunately it appears Turn10 are unable to fix the game as it is evident from their verbiage in a help post;
“If you are experiencing this, we suggest rebooting your console to see if the progress updates.”
So the OFFICIAL FIX is to restart and ‘see if it works’ I have given up at this point and will just chalk it up to the game being programmed very poorly and advise all my friends not to buy it. I find it really pathetic a month after launch and such basic functionality isn’t fixed.
I see
That wasn’t clear re doing it over one lap
Obviously understand re the quitting
Will give that a shot
