Forzathon Barn Finds?

So a friend of mine is new to Horizon. He was on vacation when the Forzathon to win the Pacer X Barn Find happened. He’s a bit jealous I got one (seems it was a childhood favorite car of his).

I dug around on the forums and got some mixed messages on Forzathon Barn Finds. Am I correct in assuming that once the Forzathon is over the Barn Find is gone? I’ve read a couple entries that said some of them are coming back. So are they being looped around eventually? I’m a bit confused and my friend wants to know if he should wait or just hit the auction house.

Nothing has officially been said one way or the other if they will come back or not
But at the moment it’s done and dusted
But you can always get one in the auction house

Odds are if they return, they’ll return as a car you can directly add to your garage, as if you won it at the Auction House. I doubt they’d present it as a ‘Barn Find Rumour’ and end up with people who already own the car just getting nothing.

I’d wager, and hope, that they enable to barn find for everyone sometime in the future.
