Hi I have heard the july car pack will be releasing the 10th of july and even some people say the 3rd of july but im confused is there a release date set for just the car pack and not the update or will they come out the same date?
Both the update and car pack will be out July 10th.

It’s a great pack for me simply because of the Porsche 904 regardless of what else would have been included.
I take it this will be the last carpack for us carpass holders then or is ther one more

We’ll get one more in August.
And then I’m guessing September will be the drift car pack from Horizon 4, and that will wrap it up for Forza 7 since Horizon 4 is out next month.
I will agree the 904 is cool, but don’t forget the Alfa. It is a sweet addition as well. Not too keen on the rest of the car’s. They don’t do much for me, but most will wet themselves over this pack so a win for the franchise. I hope the next pack will bring more vintage offerings like a late sixties Road Runner or '67 Mustang fastback.
August is included in the car pass and that will be it. May was supposed to be the last month of the car pass but T10 announced three additional packs, including the Hoonigan pack which used to be digital pre-order only back last September. The Hoonigan pack was released in June to car pass owners for free. This doesn’t mean that DLC will officially end in August, just the car pass ends with August.

I know I am disappointed. I don’t like a massive majority of modern supercars. To quote what Clarkson said in a news section for Top Gear about why most Ferraris aren’t good looking when most other modern cars were as to why I don’t like most modern supercars; “They are striking to look at but they aren’t good looking.” To put it another way I like a car that looks like its trying to seduce me with its styling not like it will try to kill me with over aggressive styling. Thus I have no interest in the 720 or superfast because I think they are very ugly indeed. Then we have 3 superlights which I am very meh about the lot of them because they are essentially max performance superlights. The only kind of superlights I am interested in are the original 200hp Atom and original/base Caterham and such superlights. That just leaves the 904 and 58 Alfa. 58 Alfa has nothing really interesting. No interesting history for me and nothing otherwise really interesting or noteworthy. Thus the 904 is the only car in the pack for me that garners any real interest from me. I’ll probably mess with the 58 Alfa and may come to like it after the fact but from here it just isn’t getting my interest. For the record the kind of cars that interest me; historically noteworthy cars, one off cars that are interesting for one reason or another, interesting prototypes or limited production. In terms of looks there is virtually no car newer than 2007 that is visually appealing to me.
The reality is not everyone has the same interest in cars. T10 can’t please everyone with each pack. Every game there are 3 to 4 packs that are mostly duds for me and for this game this pack is defiantly one of them. For me that is ok though because I understand that and am ok with 2-3 really good car packs a year with a few interesting cars sprinkled into the rest.

That’s true. I mean, I think this pack is one of the best we got this cycle, but there have been other packs for FM7 with cars I greatly enjoy and would easily trade for the ones in this pack.
While there has been an excess of SUVs in the packs, which amounted to nothing since they’ve been banned from hoppers, the SUV division in FM7 was somewhat outdated and in dire need of a revamp. There were many decade-old cars and the BMWs for example aren’t even their latest models. And there’s plenty of stuff in this game these cars can be used in, including actual racing.
The issue for me isn’t the SUVs, vans or trucks added. It is what specific SUVs were added. The ones added were not historical or noteworthy in any way minus one which you could have basically made a better equal one with the base version already in game which begs me to ask why bother? Mostly just modern every day SUVs, trucks or a van with nothing going for them. I get that they have their fans but so long as they are adding mundane SUVs with nothing spectacular T10 you mind adding base model diesel hatchbacks like a diesel Fiesta? A Renault Avantime would have been a significantly more interesting add than almost all of the other modern SUVs, van or trucks. Then again I would say the same thing for the 720 or Superfast. Again I also say that T10 can’t tailor their interests to me and it is very unfair for me to say all of that in such a negative manner as it shows disrespect to those interested in such vehicles. Such fans of those vehicles have as much right for their vehicles to be added as much as vehicles I may be interested in. However I then bring to question the relevance of adding the SUVs and trucks to the game when they, inevitably, got banned from online lobbies anyways making their additions to the game largely pointless. That alone is the only legitimate grounds I have for complaints of those vehicles being added as a good chunck of DLC cars were made undriveable online which I see as a big negative.
So maybe I missed it but in the new update releasing next week the asian guy said something about unlocking all cars for purchase. Am i correct in my assumption that means we will no longer have locked cars except for Forza Editions so we will now be able to purchase whatever car we wish. Did anyone else see the live stream?
One more will be included. It was announced in May we would be getting 2 new car packs included in the Car Pass + the Hoonigan pack. In June we got the Hoonigan pack, July we have the Top Gear pack. So that leaves one more car pack which remains to be seen!

Yes all but Forza Edition versions and the unicorn cars - the BMW Z4 M and the MG old car. I heard them say they will release more unicorns by the way.
