#ForzaMonthly July 2 livestream and July update/ Top Gear Car Pack

It is happening in July.

I think this and the Senna are signs of things to come from McLaren. Those lights will carry over in a few models and such. I’ll probably grow to appreciate it, but I’ve never been excited about McLaren.

But on topic, thank you for adding it, it will be fun to drive. But since the speed is so great, they will have to give it mediocre handling to fit with the class.

Styling is very devise. It’s like Marmite, you either love it or hate it. I personally think it’s one of the best looking supercars I’ve ever seen. Now for the Senna erm…

Exciting announcement but it has nothing – NOTHING – on what PCARS2 has just done. Ho-ly COW, FM has its work cut out with these next two packs IMO.

Of all the things SMS can and can’t do…they sure know how to make a trailer.

On to the 720S, it’s not my personal favorite from McLaren, not even amongst their modern offerings, but I know this will be desired by a lot of players, and I look forward to taking it for a spin myself.

I dunno; I’ve seen a few gameplay videos and judging by the content of the pack. they know how to do more than that.

They know how to make a good trailer, good dlc and a good physics engine but for some reason they don’t know how to make my car not randomly fly up in the air from time to time like in PC1.

I think it’s a really nice car to look at. Quite elegant whilst being incredibly quick. Not every car has to look as extravagant as an Aventador SV.

Edit: I also wonder if the display will transform into place when turing the car on in Forzavista.

Slightly offtopic, but here is FH4 gameplay of the 720S with most likely the same model Forza 7 will use.

Content Update features:

  • 2 free spotlight cars: 1971 Porsche #23 917 “Pink Pig”, and 2019 Porsche 911 GT3 RS
  • Every locked reward car that isn’t an FE car will now be available to buy directly with CR (based on the car Tiers you’ve reached)
  • FE cars will still only be rewards from campaign or events
  • The two current Unicorn cars (BMW and MG, both not available to rent) will still be locked
  • Changes to the economy coming in the next couple months, more CR in Forzathon rewards
  • No more cars in Prize Crates going forward
  • Changes coming to Specialty Dealer
  • Lobby Hosts can Kick an offending player during the middle of a race
  • Garage car collection scrolling is fixed in July. “The buglist” fix list “is huge this time.”

Not in July:

  • Track Limits feature
  • Experimental Drag “will live alongside our current drag mode” in the next couple months
  • “Pretty sure” but not certain in August: drift suspension kits (stance, drift angle, upgrade and change max handling up to 60 degrees, lock-to-lock quicker)

“The entire team - 100% - is working on Forza 7.” They’re listening to the community and considering tracks, features, etc. Every month is its own expansion with Spotlight cars and events.

What would be changes in the economy?

Personal opinions being what they are, there will still be some people not all that thrilled with it.

The Ferrari is about the only car I truly have an interest in

The economy will make more CR from events (such as Forzathon) available so that players can buy those locked cars.

Any news on what the specialty dealer changes will be?

I’m assuming more unicorn cars now that all locked cars will be available for the most part?

This is great though! Finally, they listened!

It took me a bit to get used to when the car was freshly revealed a year ago or so, but in that white colour I think it’s the best looking current production model coming from McLaren IMO. But the dark headlights on that white colour reminded me a bit about that female robot from the Wall-E animated movie.

2 New “spotlight” Cars aswell
