April Fools’ Day LOL

Nope
Its a bit late for that now

Gotta say. Very happy with a few things here.

For me, the star of this update is the Senna. This is one car I’ve always been bummed Horizon 4 had, but not Motorsport 7. Very happy to get to enjoy that now! (Now just to add the new FXX-K Evo, and the older 2005 FXX…)

Finally can buy the Cerbera 12. Was really bummed about missing the event it was in, and it seems a lot of others did too, due to it being missing from the rivals description that it was rewarded from, for some time.

I’m not sure how I feel about unlocking ALL FE cars though. Unless T10 plans on adding more cars that will be exclusive, there will be absolutely no incentive to beat any of the rivals times for rewards. As everyone will just have all the cars. Here’s to hoping new cars are coming to fix that!

Audio… Thank. God. Maybe this will stop some of the complaining on the forums about them not listening, as this was a huge talking point amongst them “not caring”. Now I believe all that’s left is the headlights issue. Which I hope they’ll get around to. But based off the audio update, and them specifically mentioning it’s because of community feedback, I have faith.

Race regulations. I’m glad they are rolling it out gradually, and informing us what features are added each month to it, what exactly they mean, and what will be coming later. Transparency is always great. Unfortunately I was not invited to the beta for it, so I haven’t personally tried it. But so far I like everything I’ve seen, and very much like the idea of people suffering a grid penalty in the next race based on their penalities from the prior one. So far FRR seems to be shaping up very nicely! Take your time T10, do not rush it out like everyone wants you to. Make it right!

Woohoo finally a worthy update. Hopefully the sound fix also includes turbo and supercharger sounds for some cars that lack that, ( Audi 90 quattro). But I’m glad they are fixing it finally. All that’s left now is a few freeplay bugs and the headlight issue and the game will be complete at that point. Also good to know some tracks are getting updated or fixed. They still have a few more updates which include overhauling the AI and finishing experimental drag so I have faith in this game again…still would be nice to get a new track though.

Don’t forget what date it is. lol Senna and race regs are most likely true. Unlocking FE cars. Not a chance.

Nah I’m sure it’s true. Thanks for this update Turn10, this is the kind of stuff that’ll keep the community around. Can’t wait to dig into it!

It’s not a joke. That would not go over well lol. Finally Fiesta FE so I can complete the collection.

Now I can finally complete my car collection too. Only missing the '87 Pontiac T/A FE. Could have swore I had it unlocked in the rivals event it was offered in, but apparently not. But, will have to weed down the multiples I have, as I’m at 900 right now, and with at least 2 cars coming to my garage, it’s looking like a grind for sure. haha.

Be on the look-out in the auction house in Xbox One, I will have 10 cars for sure there, for the cheapest buyout they can have. You can get a good tune and possibly a paint job with any cars I send to the auction block. These will be bargains for anyone looking for the cars I will have there.

Car engine audio update!! Excited!

So would this include V.I.P. exclusives as well or do those remain a Car/Perk Pack still, this long after release? Just seeking clarification.

Nope dlc pack cars will stay locked to their packs
Could you imagine the uproar that would cause if t

Sounds like a decent update and Turn 10 seems to be going in a good direction with the improvement and updates. Thanks Turn 10

Good update, loving the Senna, Audio fixes, unlocked cars and progress of FRR.

But can somebody please clarify this for me;

So penalties not served during race will be applied to the results, potential changing finishing position and rewards.

Will the best clean lap still be “on pole” for next race? and if nobody manages a clean lap will the best time with least penalties be “on pole”?

I’m sure it means the system will mostly stay the same as it is now. I don’t think penalties are served during the race but are added in the final race results changing player’s final position. Evidently the penalties will not effect placement for next race at the moment, so clean laps (old system) should still be king in placement for next race.

Thanks, reading it again that makes sense, should work same is it has always done which is fine.

Would be good in future if FRR can help differentiate between Dirty Laps, a). Someone that cuts track and gains a 5sec advantage (intentional) vs b) Someone lightly grazing the wall (unintentional).

Solid update right here.

What time today is it release in Norway!?

Still awaiting update here in Australia . . . … .so ideally it will be in the morning, our 3rd . . . . . .

I remember a day when a roll out was a global affair. Based on the Official global dateline. Which starts in the middle of the Pacific, hits land in NZ first, then OZ 2 hours later and then moves across the globe from there . . . And arrives on the West Coast if the US and the Hawaii 20 hours late.

So one can see why the developers changed their offical date to coincide with their time line . . . . We 8sed to be playing the games and updates well before the US, that never say we’ll with their releases . .

No biggy, we will get it, eventually . . . .

I’ve only got 9 more cars to get, alll FE’s, I have a few doubles, very few actually, a few of them are FE’s, while some are the odd Hot Rod or modded car here and there so that I do t have to change all manner of things from Stocker right through to all out Street Freak.

Roll on Update and the latest McLaren . . . . The great Senna tribute.
