Forzadamus predicts the two (2) expansions to FM

The Great Forzadamus has prognosticated 2 expansions to FM:

  • Karting will be the first expansion Q4 2024
ref the number a fully laid out karting tracks currently in game

  • IMSA full series and current racecars to coincide with the start of the 2025 IMSA season but will be delayed to Q2 2025 as T10 has no hard deadlines and would miss it anyway
this is an old unfulfilled agreement from FM7 partnering with IMSA that never materialized
this is when we will finally get back long beach and road atlanta and a new track, canadian tire motorsports park

See thatā€™s what I call Severe Forzatism, we simply CANā€™T HELP but hope for great things for this franchise!!! To my knowledge nobody is working on a cure!

Drag and drift expansions incl. Respective tracks, championships and cars.

Can dream right?

Yes, I do that all the time with what this game would look like with all the things I want.

Dreams were made to be smashed. And thatā€™s the plan of T10. Not to put out a top level game but to smash our dreams.

When we dream and talk about what we want in the game they listen. And when we hit on what they have planned for the game they scrap those plans and put something else in. Because they donā€™t want us to be right.

So we need to start using reverse psychology in our dreams and desires for the game. Start dreaming of crap for the game. Dumb things like taking the feature races out after each update. We donā€™t want them. No single player career, we donā€™t want it! Please donā€™t change the AI, itā€™s perfect as it is, as is the race rules. Perfect! Wouldnā€™t change a thing. Please donā€™t add more tracks to the multi player rotation.

This is what we need to start doing to get the things in the game (shush keep this quiet)ā€¦ they might actually be listening.

I completely agree with you, why 500+ cars, I only need 2 and a single track. For me that would make the game what Iā€™ve been waiting for 6 years. I mean, who needs quality these days? I donā€™t, so I have a suggestion for improvement: please remove all content immediately. I think it would be high quality with 720p graphics but without details, details would make the game seem too high quality for me. I would also like the driving physics from Need for Speed ā€‹ā€‹for FM, as they are of higher quality, and please the car models from the first part. If Iā€™ve forgotten anything, please add it.

Absolutely!

He told me yesterday weā€™ll not see a new track (as in new to Forza) before this game goes the way of all living.

Thatā€™s goodā€¦either they should bring race cars or stop making racing gamesā€¦cause dont know about others but Iā€™m done with this current race car listā€¦

The development of both those ā€œDLCā€ would require money.

If they develop DLC that is funded by a joint marketing promotion with a road production car or sponsor they can convince the licensed car brand to pay towards the DLCs development.

However if they develop DLC the players ask for - such as racing events, Karting, Drift or Drag, they have to pay for that themselves because thereā€™s no way an organisation like IMSA is going to pay T10 to do anything at all other than to stay away from their established un-sullied brand.

As a result - I predict more ā€œpartnershipsā€ with advertising sponsors like Mobil 1 and some more production cars, probably from the Asian market that can be more readily deceived.

dlcā€™s are where their biggest profit margins come from. especially now with game pass ultimate. the base game is basically a giveaway. release dlcā€™s like the deluxe and vip version are the incremental money makers.

Iā€™m guessing theyā€™re still a long way from seeing dollar one return on investment from FM given how poorly (buggy mess) this release was delivered.

i do expect dlcā€™s like expansions and car packs will come. of course, it ā€˜would require moneyā€™ but you need money to make money. business 101

this post was more to spur fun conversation and speculation of what the expansions could possibly be.

who knows. Forzadamus has yet to be proven wrong

Karts would be a fun addition. I am also hoping for more GT3 cars. (Mustang GT3 Im looking at you.) Since theyā€™re adding more IMSA cars maybe we can see more of the older IMSA racers? Even more of the Early LMPs and GT1s would be fun imo. Of coarse thatā€™s just me and I am a strange individualā€¦

I want cars from this category so bad. We kind of have every road version of their GT1 counterpart, would be cool to have GT1 cars too.

Was just watching some GT1 racing today. Absolutely love those cars. From SCCA to FIA the GT1 cars are simply amazing.

With the poor state of the game the only expansion worth for T10 will be the closing of the servers and a merciful death of the FM franchise. No a single complain from the healty part of the comunity have been addressed.

I canā€™t really see that happening.

Getting karting as an expansion doesnā€™t excite me at all. Yes it can be very fun and competitive, but I donā€™t really think it fits in with a Motorsport game. Maybe as a small separate game? Forza Karting as a ā‚¬30 game anyone?

Iā€™d rather see a themed expansion based on a country thatā€™s heavily involved in motorsports but feels a bit under represented in the game: Japan.
Thereā€™s some great racing series that can be added from them, stuff like Super Formula, SuperGT-racing and TC-Racing (JTCC, GroupA-racing era).
Also thereā€™s plenty of great tracks in Japan and maybe to stretch it a little, maybe even China and South-Korea.

This may not be as unique as karting, but to me feels like it would add something that I would enjoy more in the game.
