FM7 is a unfinished game with alot of missing features. You’ll see your customers leave to games such as GTS,PC2 and FM6. You can see the customers aren’t happy, look at the lower incomes and the negative reactions on the different forums. It’s time to take action before it’s to late! You see what happened to Gran Turismo (the real driving simulator). PC2 will be the new Forza about a few years.
Don’t let that happen. You can’t sit back anymore.
Projects Cars 2 on Xbox One is much more broken then FM7. Lot of the features in PC2 didn’t work and the graphics are on some tracks horrible with shadows like a Xbox 360 game. The Bop of some cars is wrong. GTE are seconds to slow.
Turn 10 will improve the game. But to say that PC2 is better is laughable. I played it 30 hrs and it broke my FFB wheel.
Why would people leave FM7 for GTS? Like who is really doing this? I would understand if it was GT7, but GTS is a bit of an exaggeration. As for PC2, I know a couple people who left for PC2, but honestly the lag online on that game makes me never want to play it. Singleplayer is good though, but that is about it. Honestly I would expect more people to quit playing FM7 and go play something like COD, FIFA, or Destiny over playing PC2 or GTS.
At this point in time it seems to me that FM6 is actually FM7’s biggest competitor. I mean, anyone who has FM6 already has a superior game to FM7. It’s far from perfect itself, but at least it’s fully functional and has none of the negatives that FM7 does.
One example of why I am over FM is because of multiplayer. After playing the GTS Beta for a few hours, the multiplayer side of is far superior to me in pretty much every way. I have grown frustrated with Turn 10’s lack of willingness to bring back the User created lobbies of FM4. I’m really not a fan of matchmaking in racing games.
I could say the same for Pcars 2, if it wasn’t so buggy. There’s a big patch coming but MS is being slow to release it, it’s already released on the other platforms and is apparently good.
I am buying Gran Turismo Sport purely because of what they are doing with Multiplayer. That’s right up my alley.
I’ll still be playing Forza of course (I like the Hoppers when you get clean racing), but if I want to take Multiplayer “seriously” I’m firing up the PlayStation.
I like others am frustrated at FM7 at the moment. However to leave FM7 is a bit premature. I am sure once the bugs are sorted out this will be a great game.
Don’t quite understand the neg on PC2 Ive been playing it on the ps4 and its a brilliant game Im not going to compare with F7 as I enjoy that also but for different reasons.
Pc2 is not the bug fest Pc1 was at launch.
To be honest I’m quite happy that Turn 10 released the game when they did even with some of the features not fully up and running as yet as opposed to postponing the release for a couple of months or whatever. At least it gives us a chance to get used to the mechanics and practice our driving techniques while we wait for the auction house etc. I’d rather have the game in it’s current state than nothing at all. I think people just need to show a little patience while the developers put the final touches to what should be an excellent racing game once it’s complete.
I think Forza Horizon is the main franchise of Forza now. Turn10 don’t care about fan’s wants and they don’t know what is important. The game is degenerated than FM6. Simcade(Horizon) - Simcade(Motorsports) is not good game lineup. They should make the game like Simcade(Horizon) - Simulator(Motorsports)
Not everyone hates Forza 7, I am really enjoying the game, although I do see that it’s not quite the best in the series.
I am not experiencing the vast majority of issues that other people seem to be having in relation to glitches and the game crashing.
I am not bothered about loot crates or tokens, (this isn’t the first Forza game to feature them)
I don’t really think of Project Cars as a direct competitor to Forza. It is a different type of game. Project Cars is a hardcore sim, Forza is not.
I can’t speak much for PC2 on XB1 but to me it’s a PC game. Assetto Corsa and Project Cars 1 were both rubbish on X1 but great on PC, I’d imagine the same is true for Project Cars 2.
I’d imagine most racing fans would buy both, Forza on XB1 and Project Cars 2 on PC.
The real competitor for Forza 7 is Gran Turismo, I will hold off on buying that until it’s cheaper as I have both Forza and PC2 to keep me going for a while.
Project cars 2 is also great on the ps4, personally I wouldn’t even say GT sport is competitor for Forza , GT sport is more sim just hasn’t got the bells and whistles like Pcars2 .
Forza is a true arcade racing game , its fun very pick up and play bit buggy at the moment but Im sure T10 will sort most if not all of them.
I’m not home right now. Did they update the multiplayer as they said they would?
2 weeks and I still can’t play in S800 lobbies. All I’ve been doing in this time is a few races, being forced to use the same 2 or 3 cars in the rise of the supercar lobbies. I gave up so many times out of boredom and frustration. Few cars available, outrageous 10-15 laps races on short and narrow tracks, too many races in the rain, too many wreckers, backmarkers and idle cars not getting ghosted, slow and buggy menus in lobbies…
I don’t remember this struggle in any of the previous titles.
