Forza wont load past the orange McLaren screen....

just down loaded Forza 5 2 days ago, got to play the first to tracks in the game then the game locked up, I restarted it and now it wont load past the Orange McLaren title screen. It just keeps showing the video of the cars with the opening doors unless you keep moving the controller and then it just sets there loading and not doing anything. left it there for 15 mins once and nothing. I have deleted and redown loaded the game 3 times, tried the cache clearer method, left the power cord unplugged for about 9 hours and tried and still nothing will load. I’m completely out of ideas. The only other game I have on the xbox one is titan fall and it works perfectly fine, having been downloaded for the install also so there is something wrong with Forza 5 I guess.

This is gonna sound so dumb, but did you press A?

LOL and not at the OP at all. I’ve gone crazy pulling my hair trying to get something to work in the past only to find the solution was something as simple as pressing the A button. I just got a laugh out of your response, because it made me think of some of the bone headed things I’ve done.

I had a similar thing, I’m pretty sure that its a glitch with the controller, as turning the controller off and back on again allowed me to get past this issue.

Hello - I am experiencing same problem as you described in the following post –

I was wondering if you were able to resolve this issue. I am going nuts trying various things, at the same time I have dealt with MS support people and they are jsut as clueless as I am :(.
