My experience with this Forza will confirm your fears. Im a known veteran in Forza. I’m your typical clean racer, pretty fast at leaderboard times. Forza7 banned me when I was the one being attacked by a group of corner cutters intentionally ramming. About 5 or 6 racers aimed to take me out, pushing me though corners and off track into walls. The car I used was rclass Can-Am McLaren, very difficult to be spinned out, so it gave them a hard time. Guess who won all the races?! I did. The only way they could catch me is to not brake after the stretch and ram me off track and cut every corner they could find. I believe Forza 7 installs marshals that are bias players with chips on their shoulders. I believe this marshal had a personal hate against me or maybe all 5 other racers falsely reported me. To be banned after all those attacks against me is a disappointment. I should be praised for single-handedly destroying 5 corner cutting rammers by beating them on the track. I’m not just talking about 1 or 2 but 5 that teamed up in efforts to stop me but failed. (Me venting over that situation) Winning races is the spirit of the game, if I’m not here to win, then what am I here for?! If you are jealous that you can’t catch me, don’t beg Forza to make you a marshal so you can get the power to ban me, don’t gang up with a group of buddies to all click ‘report player’ when I only offended you by being faster. I mean 3 sec per lap faster, after taking 2 years off from the game… I’m not bragging about how fast I am but more about how slow they were, they only had a chance in Yaz marina, cutting every corner and ramming every chance they got. Most of my fun have been playing pcars2 and gtsport, where competition is way bit more mature.
Yeah, it’s quite worrying that turn10 lifetime bans people and leaves them absolutely no recourse to appeal and put things right. I.m glad, apart from ghosted lobbies, I avoid the multiplayer horror and leave my multiplayer driving experiences down to Assetto Corsa, Raceroom and ACC, where more mature and responsible racers are the norm.
I got this game recently in its sale and no way would I buy it, or any new versions at full price whilst these problems exist, and T10 is ignoring the problem and just brushing people off, no matter how pretty or good the game was.
Just turned on the game to find myself with a 7 day ban… I’ve played since Forza 2 and this is a first time!
I’d be interested to find out why I was banned - any ramming is purely accidental (unless you’ve been the agitator!)
I just ran into the same issue. I questioned in the ban on the Forza Support. They replied with a generic response with links to my profile on why I was banned and the duration. They also sent me a link to the rules at the same time. I was banned for “A class pitting”. I am not a pitting type of person, if my car is slower I stay out of peoples way on the straights but still take corners as I should. If someone has to break earlier than I do, I will take the inside as any racer should. Only time I have pit a person is when I have seen an individual pitting multiple people, including myself. Only doing so in hopes that they leave the lobby.
I questioned the infraction with the support person named “Battleman” and heard no response. I what a day to see if a response would come in. I got nothing back and turns out the ticket was put into a resolved state. I reopened the ticket asking once again what the infraction was and according to their rules there has to be proof submitted (video clip). I asked to see the video clip that was in question. I got no response for a while, then the ticket was marked resolved again.
I once again reopened the ticket asking for a response, as i had heard nothing.
Now i can no longer login to my support account, it comes up with an error on Forzas side.

I’m experiencing being banned with absolutely no proof whatsoever. Ive had to submit 3 support tickets due to the issue itself and absolutely HORRENDOUS support from ‘Battleman’ (who got all 3 of my tickets!!!) It seems as though hes the only one on the forza support ‘team’.
So after no help, no explanation, and a ban from no where…ive decided the game and its creators are just absolute trash.
So, what new racing games is everyone going too? Ill gladly join you.
I encountered with the same guy, it doesn’t look like he cares about anything.
Talked about why i did what i did and that i ditch the reporting feature and deal with intentional Rammers myself (atleast i tried to clarify that).
Looks like some People don’t like tasting their own medicine, in a Motorsport game, semi-realistic, where Ramming in Game is the only ramming they do, which sparks joy after.
Not a single ban can take this joy away.
Will be the last Forza i bought, eff this hypocrisy.
To be sure there are other better Racing Games out there which deserve a try and are worth their Money “Racing-Wise”.

My son just created an account for the first time and literally got a permanent 20 year ban within 30 minutes of trying online multiplayer.
Only a class action law suit against Turn 10 will fix this abusive gong show.
Unlikely. 1st ban a week, 2nd a Month and 3rd is permanent. If you are being truthful only game hacking would result in such a ban.

Something isn’t right in what is being described. There is more to the story. People lie bud. You aren’t even the one I responded to first off all. They don’t ban you permanent that fast. They aren’t being truthful or they have a console ban from another account and they are trying to create a sub account. His son? Sure Jan. It just does not happen that fast. First ban is a week. I just got one a few weeks ago. I was defending myself from a lobby full of wreckers but that’s how it goes sometimes. Yes, I know you shouldn’t defend yourself (really?) but this was ridiculous. Reporting is pointless so I given up in that. There needs to be a simpler process. Why not just have submit replay right after the race instead of a multi step annoying difficult process. Last time they claimed they couldn’t find my replay which I don’t believe. They better have gotten banned too because they would attack me repeatedly. Yes, some race marshals are out of control but you just do not get a permanent ban immediately from wrecking someone in a lobby. They need to check that link and they will know or open a ticket. They told me exactly why. B class shoving. Same guy responded quickly to me multiple times in fact - Battleman. Race marshals need to stop hiding. People behave when they see them not when they are hiding. Wreckers have multiple sub accounts ready to go. It’s pointless. So the one thing to makes people behave isn’t being done. Stupid and pathetic to hide. Show yourselves so people actually behave and we can have a nice lobby. They aren’t helping us clean racers at all to enjoy the game better by hiding the marshal symbol. I swear they do everything wrong. These wreckers have dark souls especially to still be doing it in a 4 year old game.
I agree, this game does tend to give unfair bans. For a instance, if you are very fast and play solo with no friends, and is in a lobby with rude jealous players who have friends with them. Because you are faster than them they will wreck and corner cut you every chance and group up to report YOU for bad behavior. They continue to have a deep seated hatred and jealousy towards a racer they know they can’t fairly win against, so they perfect every dirty trick to get you banned from the game. Someone in the comments asked which racing game could the play to avoid this, I suggest pcars2, most of the players online are mature solo racers and that racing sim requires a higher level of skill so you won’t encounter many rude jealous players because these players are vastly inexperienced in more realistic racing simulators.
My advice is just move on to a better game at this point. 99% of the racers in this game have no racing etiquette, are not clean, will ram you, bump you from behind and push you off your line and proceed to steal your position, etc.
Honestly this community just isn’t worth it. Just move on and enjoy something else. The vast majority of the players in this game would just get black flagged and kicked out of most races in real racing simulators so it is what it is. Either move to a game that actually keeps it clean, has a clean racing system, etc. or stay here, where people can punt, shove, ram, you with near impunity, then get made if you retaliate.
The icing on the cake is that public private lobbies will never exist again, so deal with it or move on. I’m choosing the latter.
And this is also coming from a top 50 forza driver by the way. This game just isn’t worth it and many of the other top drivers have also moved on.
Yeah I’m a die hard forza fan I’m a clean Racer who never had any problems. I got banned once for no reason. Then back to back bans after someone for no reason ramed me. And days later I’m banned for good. I’m also high up in the leader board. And this happed in the league races. Nobody is answering me back. I think there are some kind of hacks these so called monitors are doing to get fast guys banned.

Put in multiple tickets. Got only one reply saying they aren’t able ti lift my bans.
Yeah definitely t10 not wanting to do their job and review footage and give you answers and got tired of you reopening the ticket and probably stopped you from logging into their support page altogether. They are very childish, rude and absent a lot of the time with their help.
There’s no way to directly contact them and they don’t care about their players a lot of the time it is sad.
Just reading this thread makes me surprised I haven’t been banned for clean racing and getting hit by others for no reason…
Yeah that’s bull, they start a ban, they definitely have a way of lifting it, I bet they just don’t want to, even if you have evidence proving your innocence…
Interesting to see these previous comments. Is there anyway to find out why you have been banned and for how long? I’ve just been banned with no indication as to why or for how long? Pretty frustrating, I’m not a perfect driver and make mistakes sometimes, but I’m definitely a lot cleaner than so many other drivers online and try to race fairly whenever possible.
Any advice would be welcome

I’ve heard of instances where someone got hit off the track from someone and the innocent person somehow got banned, may be the aggressor submitted a ticket with a one sided story and a picture but still doesn’t show how the innocent player is at fault and then the innocent player gets a ban…
And what appears to be from reading this, T10 just says they can’t lift a ban, even if someone proved their innocence. It seems to be an absolute joke…
I’m a clean and competitive racer and have been hit off by dirty players in the past and I’m actually surprised I’ve gotten this far without being banned for any illegitimate reason.
This was never this bad in FM6…
