The controller is now available separately in the UK for those interested but according to my local GAME, it’s available exclusively through the Microsoft store.
Got mine pre-ordered!
I also see Assassins creed unity has been added as an extra game now. Is this just for orders from now on or is it retroactive?

The AC Unity promotion started some days ago.
Since yesterday you get AC U & 12 months GOLD with most of the bundles.
I just had a chat with the M$ support, because they still don’t have any explanation what the “*” means, on their promo website.
You will get the extras expectedly only for new orders while the promotion.
If you pre-ordered before, only thing you can do is cancel and order again. But for some this will ruin other promotions (like the 150,- GS deal).

So I pre-ordered the Xbox One Forza 6 Limited Edition 1TB Bundle. But after more research I am concerned that I am not getting the whole deal with this Xbox, do I get everything that comes with the Ultimate Edition of Forza 6 or not? I read that I will only receive the digital download too, which is also a little bit disappointing. Can someone fill me in on what I am getting with the game when I get the Xbox.

Is it possible to change the system power on sound effects to standard? I think that noise might get annoying after awhile.
As much as I want this edition, it doesn’t make good financial sense principally because there are no new features that affect gameplay fidelity. Yeah I’m grandfathered into a 500 GM hard drive, but so what, as long as keep buying my games on disk, I should be fine. But console color and upgraded touch sounds are not enough to fork out 400 + tax for a box I already own and works fine. I will upgrade to the Ford controller, but that’s it. If have to have two consoles, I’d rather spend the money on a PS4 instead.
You do realize that no matter if you buy digital or physical, it takes up the same amount of HDD space because you have to install the game anyway. But regardless of that, I wouldn’t spend the money on the limited edition console either unless I didn’t own an XB1 already, then I probably would.
Sold my Day One edition X1 to lessen the blow of pre-ordering this beast.
I think the colour of it is pretty nice, but my favourite thing about it is definitely the controller, with the Forza logo stripe on it. I just really like the way it looks, but what else is there to say - a great console bundle for a great game!
I would love this addition to my consoles, but every one I own plus my stereo and cable box are black.
And no Ultimate Edition game either, not for me.
Console looks amazing, saw it in person at x15, game feels great, I have all the forzas put thousands of hours between them, literally, but I am very very annoyed that I’m paying 500$ for a brand new system and I don’t get it at the same time as the people who order the deluxe edition, I can understand you guys wanted an edition for all the hardcore fans and they get it early but the console is also a hardcore forza bundle and I would really like to get that on the same day as all the people who are getting the game like 6 days before me because I’m paying like 4 times the amount of money, hope you guys look into this, once again game feels amazing, little bit of lag when using a wheel though, outside that amazing job. thanks

Yes, I have this bad boy on order as well. I spoke with the people at Gamestop where I ordered it last night at the Madden launch about the fact it’s standard only, not ultimate :(. They said to speak with them around the release date and see if I can save $$ on the VIP membership and the car packs. It’s a digital download so I’m hoping I can swap out the codes and pay the difference. (If I already had the console I’d have probably gone ultimate.)
And yes, it would have been very nice if they offered an “ultimate” bundle available on the 10th. I would have gladly paid the extra $40.
What edition of Forza 6 do you get if you buy the bundle?

Controller only for me. The system looks amazing, but I can’t justify spending the $$ replacing my console.
I cancelled my order for this from Microsoft Store. I dont like how I would have to wait until at least the 15th to play when those who only preorded the digital game play 5 days earlier. I had originally planned on also preordering the ultimate version for early access and selling the code from this bundle, but not going to go through the trouble. Now my plan is to only get the disc version on 15th. Dont care for $100 digital only nonsense.
So you’re going to cancel your order which you’ll receive on the 15th because you’re annoyed you don’t get it earlier, but will instead wait until the 15th to get the disc?

Seems silly to me too,i can wait until the 15th because I like the look of the console and digging the 1 tb hard drive!!
