Tokens are a means of buying cars, upgrades, or Mod Packs in lieu of using your in-game credits. This can be a time-saving alternative to racing for credits (remember to also redeem your Forza Rewards for gift credits on a regular basis.) Tokens are entirely optional and not required to access any car or feature in the game. If you wish to hide token prices or prompts you can do so from the Options tab and HUD tile, setting “Disable Tokens” to ON.
In the main game menu a small window in the upper right corner of the screen will alternate between your credit balance and your token balance. In menus where credits can be used, the cost of the item will be shown in both CR and TK value; selecting that item will then give you the option to Buy with Credits or Buy with Tokens. In general, one token = 500 credits, so a car or upgrade or Mod pack that costs 50,000 credits could alternately be bought with 100 tokens.
Each player has been gifted 100 tokens today or will have 100 credits waiting when they start Forza Motorsport 6 for the first time. Tokens from other Forza games cannot be imported into FM6.
If you do not have enough credits to buy an item you will be able to select Buy With Tokens. If you try to use tokens and do not have enough, the Buy Tokens menu will open with the seven token pack options (also available at Xbox.com or in the Marketplace tile under the Options tab):
100 Tokens pack $0.99 (1 token per cent)
325 Tokens pack $2.99
575 Tokens pack $4.99
1250 Tokens pack $9.99
2700 Tokens pack $19.99
8000 Tokens pack $49.99
20,000 Tokens pack $99.99 (2 tokens per cent)
Token packs do not count toward the “Paid DLC Owned” portion of your Forza Rewards Score.
Important limitations on Token DLC
Note that Token DLC is consumable - unlike other owned DLC that can be reinstalled, once you spend your purchased tokens they cannot be reinstalled or restored by starting the game over (however, unused tokens remain on the server and will be available if you reset your gamesave).
Token packs are only available to the account that purchased them and not sharable with other accounts on a console (unlike the ability for other accounts to use DLC cars as a benefit of XBL Gold member sharing).
Cars bought with tokens cannot be sold for half value like cars bought with credits - they can only be Removed from your garage, and doing so does not restore the spent credits or add the credit value to your account. (On the other hand, Mods from a pack purchased with tokens can be sold like other Mods for their credit value.)
Mod pack contents are determined by chance and buying multiple packs may still not provide a specific sought-after Mod, so spend your tokens wisely.
From November 20 through November 30 Xbox is discounting multiple games and accessories. The digital Standard Edition of FM6 (downloaded game + 10 Year Anniversary Car Pack) is available at 17% off for Gold members and 10% off for Silver members. Players without Gold membership can get the first month for $1. There is also a discount on a Forza 6 + Gears of War Ultimate Edition double pack. See Xbox.com and MajorNelson.com for details.
You can also earn 6,000 Xbox Live Rewards credits for purchasing the digital edition of FM6 from now through January 7, 2016: http://rewards.xbox.com/exclusive-games/
The Mobil 1 Car Pack is a regular DLC add-on available for all versions of FM6. Owners of the Ultimate Edition or Car Pass can access this pack for free (the 3rd of 6 monthly packs). Other edition owners can purchase the pack or purchase individual cars from the pack. The pack adds 7 cars to the game roster.
Included cars** The Fury, One:1, and #30 Lola are not available to use in the career Stories of Motorsport volumes. The Lola can be detuned from X class to mid P with drag tires. See Engine Swap list for conversion options. Once you own the DLC pack you should find the included cars in the Find a Car (Buy Cars) menu first column listed for “FREE” where you can obtain one of each model for your My Cars list without using credits. Buying additional models of these cars will cost credits. If the cars do not appear for Free, try a power cycle of your console. See these cars listed in spreadsheet form at: ManteoMax.com KudosPrime.com Twitter/Forzamotorsport note about purchasing issues.
This car was added to the game with the December 1 content update unannounced and was not available in the regular Buy Car menu. The only way to obtain this car was by entering Career, Stories of Motorsport, Volume 1, Classic Compact, and selecting Buy Car where the car was listed at the top as a Recommended model for 72,800 credits (upgraded, not Free). The car has since been removed from the Career menu and no details have been announced on how to obtain it.
The Polo Red Car Pack is a regular DLC add-on available for all versions of FM6. Owners of the Ultimate Edition or Car Pass can access this pack for free (the 4th of 6 monthly packs). Other edition owners can purchase the pack or purchase individual cars from the pack. The pack adds 7 cars to the game roster.
Included cars** - 1973 Holden HQ Monaro GTS 350 - 2015 Mazda Formula Mazda - 2015 Nissan #1 NISMO MOTUL AUTECH GT-R - 1973 Nissan Skyline GT-R - 1979 Opel Kadett C GT/E - 2014 Toyota #8 Toyota Racing TS040 HYBRID - 2016 W Motors Lykan HyperSport The Skyline and Kadett can be used in Vol. 1 of Stories of Motorsport in the Classic Compact division. The Monaro can be used in Vol. 2 in the Historic American Muscle division. The Lykan can be used in Vol. 3 in the Modern Hypercar division. The NISMO can be used in Vol. 4 in Modern GT Racing. The TS040 can be used in Vol. 5 in Endurance Prototypes. The Formula Mazda does not have an assigned division so it cannot be used in Stories of Motorsport. Although there appears to be no Badge for Affinity in the new Opel or W Motors manufacturers, you should be able to unlock a Crew Mod for reaching Level 25 affinity for each manufacturer. The 1971 Ferrari #2 312 P was included in the January content update but not added to the Buy Cars menu. This is a unicorn car - visible to all players in game but only obtainable as a gift from Turn 10. Turn 10 announced in the 1-15-16 Week in Review “For those of you who aren’t racers but still want a shot at the Ferrari, know that we’ll have additional ways to get the car in the future.”
April Car Pack
Top Gear Magazine mentioned a Top Gear Forza 6 Pack “On-sale early April” in its late January magazine and this prize competition. More details about the pack contents and cost will be added to this thread when they are officially announced by Turn 10.

The Daytona Prototype will be featured in the Daytona Battle Rivals event for the month of February, and Alpinestars branded merchandise will be awarded to the top ten leaderboard times for the event. See the Alpinestars Challenge contest rules. See these cars listed in spreadsheet form at: ManteoMax.com KudosPrime.com
This car model was added to the game with the January 28 content update. Like other promotional DLC models it will not show up in the Buy Car menus until you have installed a code. Per Mechberg, “That’s a promotional car we did with Nutrigrain. Only available in New Zealand, I believe!” As a DLC car this is a separate car model from the standard 2017 Ford GT available for all players, with separate design and tuning files.
Any future details will be added here. In the case of the Pringles Mazda, codes were found in packaged food products. Nutri-grain is a product of the Kellogg Company.
This car model was added to the game with the January 28 content update unannounced but is not listed in the Rent or Buy Cars menu. The only way to obtain it in February as a gift from Turn 10 by beating RBW Triton in the Community Bounty Rivals event (or be one of the randomly selected leaderboard times). Turn 10 has stated that there will be other ways to obtain this car in the future.
Unicorn cars are models that are added to the game by content update - no special DLC code required like Promo cars - but are only available as gifts, not from Buy Cars. They can be upgraded, tuned, and painted just like other models.
The Porsche Expansion is a special DLC add-on available for all versions of FM6. This DLC is not included in the price of the Car Pass (the 6th included pack will release later in March) or VIP or the Ultimate Edition.

VIR tracks will not appear in the regular multiplayer hoppers.
The Porsche Anthology is a three-era campaign mode in the style of Stories of Motorsport that introduces the player to the history of Porsche. The Porsche Showcases are one-off events featuring chase, track day, bowling, autocross, endurance, and circuit events.

This car is being added to Forza Motorsport 6 to celebrate the release of Fallout 4 (Bethesda Studios, November 2015). This car model was added to the game menu filters with the April 5 content update, and includes a Badge for Chryslus in the Manufacturers section. Players must redeem a DLC code sent via Xbox Live system message in order to see this car in the Buy Cars menu and add it to their garage.
Chryslus has its own manufacturer Affinity Badge located below the one for Sunbeam.
The car is not assigned a Division so it cannot be used in Career Stories of Motorsport. It is also prohibited from public mutliplayer hoppers, but can be used in private lobbies. It can be driven in Time Attack Rivals but will not record a time on the leaderboards.
“To celebrate the upcoming Forza Racing Championship, and with just days to go before the Ford Chip Ganassi Racing competes in the 84th running of the 24 Hours of Le Mans on June 18 and 19, beginning today codes for the 2016 #66 Ford GT Le Mans race car in Forza Motorsport 6 will be sent via Xbox Live messages to gamers who play Forza Motorsport 6. [NOTE: Due to the large number of codes to be sent, it could take up to seven days for players to receive their code].” Players must redeem a DLC code sent via Xbox Live system message in order to see this car in the Buy Cars menu and add it to their garage.
For players who missed the free distribution in June, the Xbox Store offers the car as a download for $2.99.
