Apex is a standalone game for Windows 10 PCs being released for free in March 2016. Apex includes some of the features of FM6, such as Drivatars and FM6 six track locations. Because there is no multiplayer feature or livery editor in Apex, there seems to be little opportunity for crossover. Any details about Apex integration into Forza Rewards, Loyalty Rewards, tuning files, or leaderboards in Apex will be indicated here when it is released.

The Meguiar’s Car Pack is a regular DLC add-on available for all versions of FM6. Owners of the Ultimate Edition or Car Pass can access this pack for free (the final of 6 monthly packs included in the Pass). Other edition owners can purchase the pack or purchase individual cars from the pack. The pack adds 7 cars to the game roster.

A Badge for Hot Wheels Affinity was added in the P-Z group to the right of Sunbeam. Similar to the Ferrari FXX-K, the McLaren P1 GTR car type is Race. Similar to the Chryslus, the Bone Shaker may be blacklisted from multiplayer hoppers and does not record leaderboard lap times. The BMW can be used in public multiplayer hoppers. The Focus can be detuned to C class and the Mustang to B class, both using drag tires. The Ferrari is now the highest performing car (stock) in the game. X class comparison:

The Isetta, with 13 hp and a top speed of 53.5 mph, is now the weakest car in the game. The Hawk is a class up from its Legends of Grand Prix contemporaries due to significantly more power and higher grip, and has a power-to-weight ratio closer to the Lola Can-Am race car.
