Gee, great, four more cars I won’t get because I refuse to do double the weekly chores. Oh well, honestly pretty much fully burned out on the game and series at this point anyway.

Still no 2012 Shelby 1000 or 2023 Cadillac Escalade V? This is a letdown. I was really hoping to see them in this update. It stinks not having an Escalade in this game or the 2012 Shelby 1000. At this point, I’m better off just going back to playing Forza Horizon 4. I miss having the Shelby 1000 & a Cadillac Escalade model in Forza.

Did the C8 Z06 sound off to anyone else? Like it didn’t shriek or wail like you’d expect an American flat-plane crank v8 taking inspiration from the Ferrari 458 to sound. It sounded more like an E-Ray with camshaft upgrades than it does a 458.

hard to argue with the amount of content in this update, but honestly too many similar muscle cars. lots of cool unique American cars could have gone into this series.

actually I like the Belvedere and the Continental. the Rossion is the weirdest inclusion here. a leftover from FH4 that nobody knew or cared was American

Exactly. Unpopular opinion, but there were quite a few cars from Horizon 4 that I’m glad were cut from Horizon 5, yet the developers seem keen on adding them back in while not adding back cars that should have never been cut to begin with.

I can understand the other cars added in, but i dont get why they put in the rossion when we already have the noble variant.
Oh well i guess people can start doing noble vs rossion battles

Wonder what the lucent will go for in the auction house? Probably 29.95 plus tax.
Appreciate the addition of new road races and look for more dirt, cross country, and street in future Series. There is a hint of Series 28 additional Cross Country.
The exclusive cars really interesting to me, specially the 62 Lincoln, 64 Belvedere, 66 Nova, 68 Firebird, and the 69 GTO. Wished the 69 Hurst/Olds returned with Series 27.

Rossion is way way better than those useless muscle cars added this series from previous titles!!
Honestly, this update seems to be more middling than I expected.
The Corvette is a big win, albeit much later than it should be. However, it’s in now, so that’s some major points on the board. I wish I could feel the same way about the rest of the new cars. The Firebird’s nice, but the Rossion’s meh and this game does not need any more trucks. Horizon 5 is desperately in need of a banger of an update, and once again, that mark has been missed. The Ford Mustang Dark Horse, Ford GT Mk. II, NASCAR’s Garage 56, older concept cars like the Cadillac Cien, Dodge Copperhead and Chrysler ME-Four Twelve - there are far more interesting avenues that could have been traveled. Even the car pack is mixed - the Saleen’s nice but maybe unnecessary and the other exotic looks intriguing, but again: no more trucks.
I am intrigued by the new routes, and I hope they’re routes that allow cars like the Corvette to stretch out and fly as well as show off some technicality and skill. The oval track, though…that’s still going to be boring. It’s time to take the whole central hub and permanently revamp it into a major motorsport complex. Either take heavy inspiration from something like Texas World Speedway or Sedona Raceway Park, or copy those tracks outright. Give the players a massive superspeedway, a road course built inside and around it, and the routes and freedom to do what they will with it. This series is already ridiculous enough - a giant, professionally made racetrack in the middle of the desert isn’t going to be a bridge too far.

The return of the Pontiac GTO Judge isn’t that bad tbh.
I don’t see the problem with them adding more trucks to Forza Horzion 5. I’m actually glad they are adding more trucks since Forza Horizon games will most likely be the only Forza titles to get trucks of any kind anymore since the new Forza Motorsport game has no trucks at all & probably will never get any. Just saying.
