Spotted on Reddit; Playground published the Forza Horizon 5: Ultimate Car Pack Collection. It contains every DLC car for $49,99 which is about $25 cheaper than buying them separately (at least according to the Steam page).

Question @T10ManteoMax What if I already own car packs? Do I still pay $49,99 for the entire Ultimate Car Collection? Or are the car packs I own deducted?
I guess there might be.
According to the Steam page, all those car packs are listed seperately but can be sold as a whole (with discount).
I remember that when Forza Horizon 4 was not delisted, there was a Horizon Collection pack on Steam that includes the ultimate edition of FH4 and the primium edition of FH5. I bought FH4 before having FH5. So when I purchased FH5 through that pack, I got a discounted price that is cheaper than the original one.
So, yeah, probably, if you have several car packs already, there might still be a discount for those you don’t have.
But anyway, I know nothing, since I have got all those car packs and cannot check it out for you.
Yeah, I might be tempted to complete my collection if the microsoft store offered the same “complete your collection” discount style that steam offers, but I don’t know if that’s possible on that store.
I won’t just buy the whole package when I already own a few packs.
not enormously interesting but I’ve only noticed a sale on these once, recently, and not all of them, so vaguely interesting that this has been released - but I’d already forgotten about it by the time I noticed you replied!
I do play it through the MS Store, but the vast majority of my PC gaming is through Steam. I wish I’d just bought it there in the first place…or even better, that it had the cross-save support it absolutely should have.
Looks like they put up an FAQ for the collection: https://support.forzamotorsport.net/hc/en-us/articles/37509363802771-FH5-Ultimate-Car-Pack-Collection-FAQ
Kinda sucks that people who own some individual packs on the MS store get absolutely no discount, while Steam users get tailored discounts. The MS store is first party but we have a worse deal.
I was interested in picking up some of the packs I didn’t have, but without these discounts, I don’t see myself picking up anything new now. Unless they put the packs on massive sales just before the game’s delisting in a few years.
I guess I’ll just continue grinding Microsoft Rewards points. I recommend everyone else to do the same. Don’t buy those packs if they treat Xbox users this way.
