Spotted this on the Blueridge Parkway yesterday. It was getting ready to take off but I got one pic before it left out. Sounded amazing!

R8s and things like this are a rather regular view in Berlin but it’s also a big city.
I don’t really take pictures of cars in traffic but I was at the Classic-Remise aka Meilenwerk last sunday and took some photos. Here’s a bit of what is parking in the “glass boxes” you can rent there. The cars with the white plates starting with a B are registered here.
This is what stands around at the dealers and the car care booth.

@PlageBLN , isn’t seeing an R8 in Berlin much the same as seeing a Corvette or a Viper in a US city? Just an observation.

My brother owns a 2016 E63 S and a 2023 AMG GT63 S. My cousin has the new Golf GTi. I live in Bay Area and there are really wealthy areas near me so I see pretty much everything that is available in US.

I don’t know how common Corvettes or Vipers are where you live but I saw two R8 Spyders in the last three days. A red and a white one.
Yeah, there are a few of R8’s around here more V10’s than V8’s, but people with money build out absolutely stupid Corvettes lol

Got a speeding ticket in one of those for doing 70mph. The Officer commented on how fast I must have really been going because it took him so long to catch up with me. He didn’t like my comment about the poor quality of his. And then I told him a speeding ticket a Pinto wasn’t a ticket it’s a badge of honor. I did not win friends or influence people.

Lewis Hamilton’s old Pagani Zonda had a bit of a moment, not far from me - I didn’t see the accident, but my missus was caught in the traffic jam caused when the new owner ran out of talent in the Penmaenbach Tunnel…
