I hope it isn’t in Japan because it’s just so overplayed in videogames.
Now something based in Macau and the islands off the coast of Zhuhai, China would be different. Bright lights, cities, exotic cars and open road bridges between the islands…

Whatever they do…the Horizon games always offer more new content than Turn 10s Motorsport… We only get ONE NEW TRACK every two years there!!

There’s been a theme for all the Horizons, USA, Europe, Australia,Ideally I’d like to see Japan in the next but if I were a developer I’d try and make as many people happy as possible, what about an International FH4 with a mixture of left and right hand side vehicles/roads. Lets be honest though, there would still be haters because T10 didn’t highlight their own city /street

I was thinking Japan or Germany in an area close to the autobahn. There are a lot of great locations in the United States too. Chicago stretching up into Wisconsin area. Michigan, and even Parts of New York.

Hi there, guys! My first participation here. Just signed up. Google brought me here and, well, I need to say.
Rio de Janeiro (Brazil in general) would be ABSOLUTELY AWESOME AND FANTASTIC. Although it would be similar to Australia due to the huge litoral, beaches and sunny weather, I’m sure Brazil scenery would offer an incredible and beautiful experience!
By the way, this would bring so much nice memories from Driver 2, where Rio was the forth and last city.
But I’m really afraid Australia location could avoid a Rio/Brazil appearance in the next game mainly because they can be a bit similar.

I’m surprised no one mentioned Middle East yet. The UAE is already a hot hub for exotic cars.
The story won’t be difficult to come up with either. Some billionaire Arabs have setup a small island off the coast of Dubai/UAE and are having the horizon festival on it. And considering Arabs like to do everything with an extraordinary touch, you can let your imagination go wild in constructing the track and locations.
Japan isn’t a bad option either but I think it’s been done by movies and other games too. Maybe some other East Asian country could work.

I was thinking that Russia would be a good location. If it took place around the area of Moscow it would have a big city and to the east of Moscow there’s a countryside that would be good for offroading. Plus it’d be interesting to see some cars manufactured in Russia in the game.

Where do you guys think forza Horizon 4 will be and what would you want added into the game
Forza Horizon would be cool to expand to Japan, Dubai, or even Cuba or all the Hawaiian Islands even. But what I thing should happen is having houses to put your cars in, very similar to Test Drive Unlimited. Not getting out of the cars like GTA but just having houses would be cool! I don’t know, I think it would spice up the game a little bit!

I think it would be kind of cool if we went to Africa, it doesn’t have the STRONGEST car culture but it has a good one and tons of scenery.

I think that is highly unlikely to happen in the Wildlands of Africa. Perhaps South Africa would be more fitting? If it would be South Africa I think Johannesburg would be the main plot point. But I don’t think it will be Africa. The environment will not be anything new in the Horizon series. A tropical climate with much of the same climate already seen in the former titles in the series. I would have to go with Asia.
Japan would be the most ideal one in my opinion. Japan is so extremely modern both architecture wise but also culture wise. It would also come with new additions to the series. For example new types of biomes and roads. This is just a theory of mine, but yeah I agree with you. Africa would be cool but I find it very unlikely. Best regards Jackiboy.
