Ok, so i’ve been wanting to write this for a while, but never have gotten around to it. Forza Horizon 3 is undoubtedly one of the most beautiful car games ever developed, but like any game there are a few flaws. In my opinion, the biggest flaw in the game are the turbo noises in the cars. Every single car that has a turbo in this game always has an excessive amount of turbo noise and turbo swooshes to the point where its annoying to drive cars with turbos. It is very simple to youtube any car in the game and notice that in real life the turbo noises are not prevalent AT ALL! The turbo noises honestly ruin the cars (Forza Horizon 2 turbos noises were substantially better) and its something that should really be patched in an update.
I have noticed that with many stock turbocharged cars, the turbos do indeed make more noise than they should. However, I think that some cars actually need more turbo noise when a race turbo is installed. Also, I have driven some older (1980s) turbo cars, and they do make all those sounds, even stock.
Oh I agree - the forced induction sounds were far better in previous games, particularly H2 and FM5.
You can tag JONK1969 and Nitro Glitter in your thread or try PM’ing them as they are currently looking into game issues. However, I do remember reading in another post that all game issues are to be made public and the need to PM only arises if you wish to share an issue that’s somewhat private in nature.
