So I preordered the game and I got the mercedes one. So whenever I go to the auction house I can buy that one but it won’t let me buy the other 5. Is this s glitch? If it is I hope it’s fixed because I want to get them all without preordering the game from 6 different places.
Not a glitch, it’s intended. Since each of the pre-order cars are essentially a DLC of their own, if you don’t have that one, you can’t get it.
this is so stupid! i wanted to get the different pre order cars too and it doesnt let me
what harm can it possibly do to let us buy the other pre order cars in the auction house?!!

ALL The preorder cars already have a version already available in the game but without the preorder tag and tune
Only difference is the preorder tag and the tune is just a simple maxed to the stock class
The reason you cant get them is because they were preorder incentives…you arent missing out on anything

we already bought the game, what difference does it make to them that we have access to these 6 cars?
as you say the only difference is the tune for the class and the “pre order car” tag so why block this content…

Why do you NEED to get cars that you can already get just for the preorder tag
The tune isnt anything special either…its just maxed to the original class

If they are free for all now than it woukd be misleading to call them a preorder bonus. In previous games though they have been released later.

I disagree. People who got the pre-order cars via DLC codes are still the ones who bring the cars into the game. It would be in both person’s interest if the DLC code owner could sell his preorder car if he wanted to to another player who doesn’t have the DLC code but for whatever reason wants to collect the preorder cars.
On the preorder info pages it was never said that these cars could be sold or not on the AH, it only said that people who pre-order would get a pre-order car as a bonus. And they have gotten just that. Making it possible to sell them or not on the AH has nothing to do with that.

you’re right, its the players that for some reason would like to collect all the preorder cars that are stupid, makes no point wanting the cars that are in the game…

anyway its a purchase in-game but i get it that most ppl dont care about that so the minority will always be left behind

It would be nuisance harm, because just letting someone buy something from the Auction House that they don’t own DLC for would lead to endless complaints that “I wasn’t warned that I was spending credits on DLC I can’t use.”
DLC has to be installed/owned before you can use it. These cars were separated as DLC to help benefit retailers during the pre-order period now. They’re not going to change the status of that now.

Eventually they be in a car pack of there own give it a few more months
l would happily sell you or anyone the pre-order car l don’t want. Now it’s just a piece of trash in my garage because l cannot sell it to anyone who wouldn’t already have one. lt would be a more valuable pre-order bonus for me if l could sell it for several 100k to someone who doesn’t have access to it otherwise.
l think all the DLC cars have an economy problem in that they are practically worthless credit-wise. Even thought about making a write up and sending it to PG but l doubt it would even get through to anyone.
And then you will get all those that have actually paid real money for the dlc complaining about those being able to buy those cars with ingame pretend credits
Why bother buying dlc if you can just buy it in the auction house…same goes for the preorder dlc cars…why bother with preorder bonuses if you can just go and buy in the auction house later on
Im still unsure why you want to buy these preorder cars when the identical car is already in the game…but without the tag…

You miss the point here, must have every car, means even the ones with a different name. Which the preorders have a different name from the standard editions.

they count as another car needed for photo n for collection players but you can’t buy dlc cars with out the dlc from the auction. Just like the first 2 horizons the preorder car pack will be free for this game to
