I have a habit of collection, when I search a pre-order car in auction house,It can display but not buy.
No matter what I click bidding or direct purchase will be displayed: Unable to download the appropriate data.
I suspect that this problem only occurs on pc!
I believe its because you don’t have access to that DLC… Not because your on PC.
(But I’m on PC too so I can only confirm you cannot buy them.)

No that’s totally correct. I’m on PC and I have the pre-order 488 and nothing else. I can only successfully bid on the 488, all the other pre-order cars give me an error.
It is the same on Xbox One. I got the Merc C63S preorder and can only bid on that car.
I still get a market download error when I attempt to use mine as well. I was wondering if it’s because my pre-order was from Amazon.
You can only buy the pre-order cars you have the “DLC” for. Say you received the 488 for pre-ordering, you can only get the 488 pre-order variant from the auction house. Unless you buy, or are given, the codes for the others, you won’t be able to get them.

Dang l suppose that means the Pre-Order cars are also worthless in the AH since the only people able to bid on them are those who already have one…

Indeed. They should really remove the marketplace check on preorder cars. That would allow these cars to be traded on the AH and also fix my bug about all the preorder cars being in my garage but unable to use or even remove them, basically they are just sitting there eating away 5 places towards my garage limit.

I already have the pre-order car include charger SRT 、AUDI V8 、488 GTB、C63S Coupe,I just want to collect the remaining two only.
Might be able to buy the codes for them on ebay
You do know there is the regular versions available just without the preorder tag and tune
